Thats what I’ve been saying— if you can get a material upgrade for the roster, the benefit would more than outweigh the hit. But guys like Dragan Bender? Nah. Not worth it.

I don't necessarily agree. He's getting paid nothing and has been really solid in his role.

Also, he has a NG second-year and is an RFA after that. That's a valuable contract for a guy that has production like him.

Green's fine and all, but what production are you pointing at? His D is avg, he's got good energy, but beyond that what stands out to you?

Having guys that accept uneven playing time and are content to just work their ass off is something I’ve grown to appreciate after last year.

I think Green is likely gone, but we’ll keep him around as long as possible as we try to make a few consolidation trades. Worst case scenario is that you cut a player who’s salary is essentially the veteran minimum.

Yeah, a 22 year old 7 footer who was the number 4 overall pick and has top tier potential is certainly not worth cutting Javonte Green for. What are some of you people smoking?

Will he ever realize that potential? Probably not I suppose. Is it worth the gamble? If the only price is cutting Javonte Green? Uh yes.

I really don't think Danny makes a single move the rest of the way unless someone gets hurt. The impact guy if he gets bought out is Thompson and I truly believe that Rich Paul won't agree to a buyout unless he's helping Klutch win a title in LA.

So Phoenix making an atrocious decision means we should add a guy who isnt an NBA caliber player?

He has no potential. Hes a **** shooter, a **** rebounder, unathletic and a **** defender. What are you smoking?

Bender is ******* garbage, I wouldn't have cut Vander Blue for him. At least Javonte is fine with no minutes half the time, and brings occasional energy.

Sooner or later, we're going to wash ashore the beaches of Amir Island. And it will be glorious.

Yep, agree with all that. I was just curious what GC123 saw from him on the court that stood out.

Bender is a great player....for the D-League or China.
Stay away from this guy.

Moving goalpoasts???
Didn't need ANY guards?
Too short?

All your words friend! I said they had plenty of similar bench role players, ITs current skill set would be ridiculously redundant to what they have already ....TJ is very diff from what they HAVE ALREADY.

Still waiting for your breakdown of Eddie House/ IT

Those were your words until you deleted them........ and you have moved the goalposts here. You said they waived him because they didn't need guards and when shown they are looking at a guard you changed you position. whatever... IT is not coming here regardless because as Doc has already determined he can't help a playoff team

Dude why would I go change my words?? To strengthen my position for some inconsequential online basketball debate???

C'mon man

The clipps have several 'softer' bench scoring options ....IT is another soft option ...TJ is much differente

Well it seems like it was a third Williams or bust for Danny, at least thus far. Can’t blame Marv for going full
on ring chasing mode.

Now we don’t get to hear Tommy say, “The way this Dragan kid’s huffing and puffing up the court he must be breathing fire!”

If Bender isn't picked up by the Dubs I'll be shocked.

It's kind of unfortunate that we won't hear Tommy compare Bender to Hakeem and Bill Russell.

I think you may end up in some sort of Celtics purgatory for putting Dragan Bender and Bill Russell in the same sentence, but yeah, one can dream!

I'd still take a flyer on the guy. Sure he may end up another Tskitishvili, but if he showed even one post move that resembled Olajuwon's, I'd be the first one to call it the "Dream Bender".
