Thanks to those who for the chance to watch...
..somehow I think the Wimbledon thing started here. I seem to recall doing a search on "Herb Kohl Wimbledon" and RealGM came up.

The purple thing got SUPER HOT for a bit. The Rockies, the Kings, the Hornets....the Ravens were a bit late but it's not like new NFL teams pop up all the time

Of all the ridiculous things Herb Kohl did, purple uniforms would not be in my top ten. I even have a tiny bit of nostalgia for the purple uniforms, my main gripe with that era was all the other merchandise (hats, hoodies, jackets, etc) was awful.

Heck, the purple unis were much better IMO than the Michael Redd era raspberry and shiny forest green unis.

I'm pretty sure it was Mike Dunleavy who was the one who liked the Wimbeldon colors. According to this story, he was the one in charge of the Bucks' 90's rebrand.

The focus should be on a coherent design, but okay, I guess it's a start.

I posted this on Twitter, but I think the multiple shades of green (maybe kelly/forest/emerald), or just forest/pine contrasted with WHITE and a lighter green with a red Nike swoosh and a red Milwaukee tools patch is the best possible compromise.

Just a splash of red.

A lot of work for such a dumb message. He tried to make it seem like our colors were green and blue which is not the case
