Doesn't necessarily equal success, 2014 kings won 28 games and 08 warriors won 29.

And don't forget, Hayward is around 17 a game. If he hand't broken his hand and missed a lot of time, he might also be over 20 a game.

Off the top of my head I know the Clips and the Pels are both close. I know Jrue is right near 20 and so is Lou.

Raptors have 5 players all averaging over 15ppg.

Siakim - 23.7ppg
Lowry - 19.6ppg
Vavvleet - 18ppg
Ibaka - 16.1ppg
Powell - 15.3ppg

Only team in the NBA doing this I believe.

Bosh didn't average 20 during Miami's run? He must have been close (just checked, he was 18.7 ppg, 18.0 ppg, and 16 ppg)

The less he scored the further the team went each year, lol.

I might be reading your post wrong, but I believe GSW won 48 that season. However they still missed the Playoffs because the West was stacked.

Funny because Jackson was suspended the first 7 games, Warriors started 0-6 and was on pace to have a 20-win season, then they won their 7th game to go 1-6, and once Jackson returned they won around 11 of their next 13 games or something like that. After the 0-6 start, tied with Boston for best record in the league since that point. One of the best teams to never make the Playoffs.

My first thought was the Arenas, Jamison, Butler Wizards teams and it appears they had two close misses.

Is there a minimum games played requirement we're looking at for this? It's obviously easier to do the more games missed by top scorers(ex the Raptors 5 players with 15+ is boosted by 6 of their top 7 rotation players missing at least 10 games).

I don't know what the cut-off should be, but there should be one. 60 games?

Also somewhat surprised the mid-80s Lakers never achieved this feat, considering they had Magic/Worthy/KAJ and played at an insane pace. They got close in 1985-86, with Worthy and Abdul-Jabbar averaging 20 ppg, but Magic just missing the cut at 19 ppg.

I like it. Nice round number, and roughly 75% of the games.

Yeah, I was surprised these 3 didn't make the list. Also, Arenas, Hughes and Jamison were real close (25.5, 22, 19.6 respectively).
