Been watching the Leicester pre-match but in 45 minutes they haven't spoken about Leicester or Burnley, only Liverpool.

But is a draw enough?

Do you reckon you'll be in the europa Leagie next season?

If you're down to 10 men and trailing 1-0 at Chelsea after 26 minutes, then a draw is a good result. A couple of weeks ago we would've lost this game by three or more goals. The problemes are the games against 'smaller teams'. We should've won a lot of those games, but we shot ourselves in the foot too many times.

Imo the league is over at this point. I just hope we can get a great cup run (FA Cup or Europa League) and qualify for Europe that way.
I don't expect much transfer activity in january, but I'm sure they're analyzing the squad for a big overhaul in the summer.

Did you watch the games?

We crashed when we played Liverpool and Man City who were far better teams than us.

We played below our standard against Southampton and Burnley and gave up leads.

Against West Ham and Villa we played some excellent football, the type of football that Man city and Liverpool like to play, better than any Arsenal has played this season. We crushed wet spam and lost to Villa last night (despite 45 shots over the two legs) because the Villa GK played out of his skin in both matches (without mentioning the clear handball last night). However we looked majestic.

If earth is a league Cup Semi final, still in the Fa Cup and 3rd in the prem 14 points ahead of Manure in 5th, then I guess we're crashing to earth.

We've had a heavier schedule than Liverpool since early December and we've had a few injuries. If we can beat Chelsea on Saturday we'd get to a two week break 11points ahead of Chelsea in 4th and anything from 14 to 17 points ahead of 5th (potentially 21 points ahead of Arsenal). I think we're having an incredible season and I'm confident we'll finish in a CL position and above Arsenal. :D

Fair play, I do think you guys are having an excellent season. Third place would be immense!
I saw some games (Liverpool, City, Southampton and both Villa games), but I did rely on motd for some of the other games tbh.
It's interesting to follow the improvement of Tielemans, Praet en Ndidi.

Liverpool and City were far better, but there's no shame in that.
The Southampton game was a letdown, but to be fair, Southampton has been strong the last couple of weeks/months.
Against Villa you guys were outclassing them both times, but the team doesn't feel the same as it did in the beginning of the season. The football still is good, but you guys feel more vulnerable, if you know what I mean.

Seems we've become the French Ligue 1 this season.

This season Liverpool just has the mentality and belief that they can win every game, even when they play bad.
Everything just clicks.

Any other team would've conceded a goal from Southampton yesterday. The amount of chances they missed was just insane.
Liverpool were pretty poor in the first half, but got away with it. Happened a lot this season. I
It's just their year, well deserved.

Just signed the creative, goal scoring midfielder they despirately wanted, only to play him as a defensive midfielder.
The state of Man Utd...

Yea, CAS probably have something to say. Might change it to one season.

I just hope that nothing is sorted before the summer window signing. They'll sign no-one and players will want to leave, maybe Pep too.

Cheats shouldn't prosper. Hand back those trophies too.

I'm glad UEFA are taking action but I wonder if City will ironically just throw more money at a bunch of cutthroat lawyers and wind up with a reduced ban or having it removed all together.

Frankly, they can swivel for all I care.

PSG was also punished a couple of years ago. We all know how that turned out...
It'll probably never stand.
