love zach but hate garpax? the irony is that zach lavine is the poster child of the garpax regime right now. he is the perfect symbol of pax's break with his previous (and largely successful) method of building teams

Zach is improving while GarPax are getting worse even from their low levels. Zach is no break from anything. In the Jimmy trade, he was a happenstance.

"alright, he can still jump high. give him the money." that makes no damn sense. it's quite obvious that they saw him as a, if not THE, primary piece in the butler deal. it was a gamble on low IQ talent. just like drafting tyrus thomas was. the antithesis of the "paxson way." zach is just working out a bit better

People are trying to justify for whatever reason to bring up the good things Pax did....that shouldn't matter as he is largely unsuccessful.

The majority of the fans don't care or take selfies at the game. And that just doesn't effect the bottom line. It's not the crowd that went to the Chicago stadium. The Bulls have the #4 team in town and still rake in an amazing profit and the top team value in the city.


My prediction, the NBA rigs the draft, the Bulls get a really good young player at #1 or #2 or #3 and we get 10 more years of Garpax.

Anyone who spends time on this board can't be surprised by the First Take fan response. I suspect that the impact will be greater than the billboard and it didn't cost anyone a penny.

I'm a long-time Paxson supporter, and found the clip uncomfortable, but have to admit that Bulls management deserved it. For me, I understand that injuries have continually disrupted the development of this team and the ability to evaluate its key young players, but I can't and won't defend their selection of Boylen as their head coach, their extension of him and their continuing unwavering support of him. Is Boylen THE reason the Bulls are as bad as they are? No. Is he part of the reason? Yes. Is Boylen the easiest problem to fix. Yes.

The impact was so much greater because it wasn't just a bunch of fans with an agenda. The reaction came only when the question of FO competence was raised. It wasn't staged. It was organic. If you were hoping that All Star Weekend would present an opportunity to **** on the Bulls FO on the national stage, it really doesn't get much better than this.

Been posting for 19 years on this board, and it's just comedy that Garpax is known as Garpax by a lot of fans now, and that only now are fans getting out there and calling for this. I used to really really hate em, but now it's just pure comedy.
