I'm just here to end this conversation. This is just about Lebron. Nobody talks about how theres no elite big men in the east other than dwight howard. What happens in the east conf finals? Basically swept. Old dirk? Beat a miami superteam with a DECENT team.

How many dunk competition did he win? Did he played in skills challenge? lol. Come on man. This guy aint no goat. Weak ass mentality. I think this dude is one of the fakest person in the world in terms of " he is such a good father, person, and all" . He really going to let espn stream his sons b-ball game? Gonna let espn know like "hey i just opened a school for kids for better education, let the audience know im a good person." While other nba players done that but we don't know because they want to trick you into thinking he is a great guy. Yea that 2011 cough cough making fun of dirk was real cute. not 1 not 2 not 3? Telling the media they're all poor while you are living making millions? The chosen one? This guy is just unlikable in a bad way. You can't be the goat like this. Sorry but thats just facts. You play the game because you love to play it. Not to sit out games because your tired while fans paid lots of money to see you. Great guy.

Who wins on points?

Why would you give any points for a first round playoff exit. You should subtract points for that.

Zero points for not making the playoffs. Getting a team there and/or a winning record should count for something. Otherwise, you're saying the 82 games of the regular season means squat.

It does mean squat when you are talking about the greatest of all time...

This thread is so silly. Just blind teenage lebron worshipers dying to prop their idols. The fact is it doesn't matter how much these blind kids yap about their favorite idol on here. Jordan is the consensus goat by a wide margin and it won't change anytime soon. As a matter of fact lebron isn't even cemented as the #2 goat by majority. Many casual fans even have Kobe above lebron. We even have many former and current peers of both Kobe and lebron claiming Kobe to be better. It's not even a worthy of a discussion at this point. The fact is majority of basketball fans have seen lebron fail way too many times despite his attempts to stack the deck in his favor multiple times. His legacy is already set. These blind kids are just wasting their time.

They can think what they want. Someone following all the shitposts i've made the last two days could probably learn some cool things about russell, mikan and Kareem. Someone could judiciously read through every-thing you've ever written and all they'd ever learn is that you like jordan.

My advice? stop writing like the love-child of 4-chan and youtube. That should get you to "average shitpost level". We can work up from there.

Not sure why scoring champion or dpoy are included here since they only cherrypick parts of the game. Scondly, I'm not sure why media votes are considered an accomploshment since they aren't actually accomplished on the court. Thirdly, as far as media votes go, you're forgetting as hit ton of all-nba's and sll star's.

All yhat aside, you're struggling with comprehension. I never said Lebron had better accolades. I said he had similar value at his peak and had far more value to his teams over the course of his career.

Ionly ever brought out accomplshment in reagrds to kareem and russell. Because being more accomplished than Lebron would still not make jordan goat, even if that was your primary criteria. Lebron's criterion for goathood, combining goat career value with a goat peak, is enturely unique to him. Jordan's claims to goathood are not. Hence one has a very simple goat argument, while the other's is far more complicated and requires far more qualifiers.

It's not that hard to grasp if you think about it.

Jordan is the bootleg version of all the other goat candidates. Lebron is the hybrid. One has a compelling case, the other's only works when you act like half of nba history didn't happen.

That OKC team that had 3 All-NBA players? KD who was the reigning 3x scoring champion, Russell Westbrook and Serge Ibaka who led the league in blocks and was runner-up for DPOY?? Then throw in 6MOTY James Harden also.

That's the really, really young OKC team that steamrolled their way to the Finals with a 12-3 record? That's who you're referring to?

you can't be serious. the nba rings do not go to youth - IT SIMPLY DOESN'T. just look at it's history. there was only one team with okc's youth and that was walton's team. they were younger in fact - walton 2, lucas 2. hollins 1. gross 1, and twardzik was the oldest at 4. young teams act young.

It should be noted that MJ was so great on the big stage,

But at the same time, not upoverlooked that LeBron got to that big stage so often...

And it’s weird this whole, LeBron started Superteams,
The Showtime Lakers, The JORDAN Bulls, Shaq and Kobe Lakers, they were all super-teams

And Jordan-Pippen-Rodman is superior to Lebron-Kyrie-Love

I view them as equal in their ability and skill,
Jordan gets the edge in accolades,
And where Jordan becomes the goat for me, is personally the cultural impact...

He was bigger than basketball at one stage, Bron was never that big, no player has ever been, and I doubt will ever be again

The Heat were underdogs because Lebron was coming off choking in 2011, 2010, and 2009. The bettors didn't think he would be able to get it done.

Yet none of these guys made the NBA global. There are fans on this forum from Germany, Turkey, Greece, Australia, Brasil, Portugal etc etc.
Which player made that possible?
You're not from overseas most probably and you don't understand that. It's ok.
Just be aware that MJ and that Bulls team was a world's team at a point in time. I don't know if you think that's unimpressive.
To me it boosts MJs case more than any rings, mvps, all nba teams.

The only thing truly super about those 90s Bulls teams was the Triangle system they played. It's what brought both 3 peat rosters together.

What Helped MJ become a better leader, and it helped Pippen develop into the great number 2 option he became. It's what won them 72 in 96, and 69 a year later along with the championships. Phil Jackson and the coaching staff deserves more credit. The number 1 thing that puts MJ over Lebron for me is the fact that he let his coach do their job and he learned from it.

As good as Lebron was at 18 years old, I still think 2 years of college hoops would have helped him become even better. Same with Kobe, KG, Dwight and all of them that went pro straight out of High School. It was their rightful decision to make, but if you ask me it cost them some development that could have led to even more success. However we will never truly know.
