LeBron is the best player I’ve seen. MJ in a close second

I feel LeBron is just more versatile on both ends. And has a higher ceiling (leading every player in every category while being by far the best defender vs a 73 win team. ). It’s things like that.

No knock on Lebron, but Jordan was the clear cut best player in the league for nearly his entire career with nobody close. For me Lebron is number 2 but, it isn't nearly as clear cut. It took him much longer in my opinion to become the best in the league and the runner ups have been much closer.

Oh I'm not disagreeing with you. I have MJ far and away the GOAT. There was a thread a few days ago from a poster who's argument was not popular like this thread and his argument was shut down because the poll was only 10% in his favor.

MJ and Bron are apples and oranges to me. They are top 2 but I can't confidently say which one was better (and yes I've watched them both).

Also, Bill Russell should be a choice here imo. GOAT of winning.

Greatest competitor I’ve ever seen on a basketball court. I was blessed to watch him live twice. First time, I saw him live he scored 65 points against the Blazers doing the most amazing things on the court that I’ll never see again. My best friend and I both lost our voices screaming all game watching Kobe hit the most ridiculous shot after shot after shot!
