That was an awesome ending.
KC: Do you still think you're a championship-caliber team?
Gar: I never said that and correct me if I'm wrong.
KC: You were asked that question at the news conference announcing Thibodeau's dismissal and you answered yes

Probably one of the better 3 point contests I can remember.

Yeah - not sure I enjoyed the addition of the Mountain Dew Balls either; the 3 Point Contest is one of the only All-Star Events that has stayed somewhat 'pure' without the addition of stupid gimmicks and props.

But I digress - I could rant about how much I hate about the All-Star Weekend all weekend nowadays. Should probably just go outside and enjoy the Australian weather.

Chicago sure has put up a really generic event so far.

It's the league's event, Chicago isn't in charge of anything.

Not a big fan of Dwight or Connaughton being in this contest TBH. There's no way that these are the best 4 dunkers they could find

It's been generic for years that's why they keep changing up the events every year to try to make them more exciting.

Usually there are more celebrities at the All Star game but I guess even they don't want to come to Chicago and this weather.

Sad they are showing Guy Fereri and Jake from State Farm as the celebrities in the crowd.

If the NBA truly wanted to improve the dunk contest, they’d start by putting an end to Kenny Smith being TNT’s on air guy for them. He’s consistently awful year after year.

Dude is the definition of the worlds worst hype man

Yep, Chicago’s involvement was getting out the way and letting the NBA take over their house for the weekend.

That was an epic Dunk Contest and they somehow screw it up with the judging.

Next week the NBA will come out with a statement how the judges, after review - got it wrong.

Also - how quiet is the UC.

Poor Aaron Gordon...when you think he's about to win the slam dunk contest, he loses in the end.

I thought they got it right actually. Not a fan of the 2 trophy thing and Gordon acting butthurt at the end really made me root against him.
