Nick Nurse lost that game for his team. Absolutely ridiculous and uncalled for to not use a single sub in the 4th quarter. And no excuse for a voted in starter to only get 15 minutes of run.

Once I realized what was going on I was so upset I started cheering for Lebron's team to win.

You realize Vogel did the same with Doncic  This was the most entertaining all-star game I've ever seen, in any sport. I can't believe anyone's mad.

That 4th quarter was one of the greatest spectacles with the collection of talent that was on the floor. I wish Jimmy Butler was in instead of Kemba. Kemba just didn't have it in the 4th quarter.

yes, I'm pissed at him too, but at least he made 4 subs in the 4th quarter and got fresh guys out there. Nurse just sat there and watched the same 5 guys blow a 10 point lead and then obviously struggle to score the entire 4th quarter. In a real game any decent coach would've made adjustments and substitutions.

I'm a huge Luka fan as well so not happy about his limited run either.

also wanted to see more of a guy like Gobert who was 10/11 from the field. And Butler and Ingram and Jokic and several other guys who didn't get any PT in the 4th.

kinda hoping this game is an indicator of what Philly will get out of Simmons and Embiid in the playoffs.

Kobe would have been proud of the effort put forth in that 4th quarter. Everyone played their asses off.

Trae didn’t deserve run. If anything his only fault was keeping Kamba in. I would have gone with Butler for even better defence and some clutch baskets.

Lowry deserved to be out there he was competing harder than anyone and made a lot of winning plays that still, for whatever, reason go unnoticed to casual fans.

Probably would have put Gobert in for Embiid and Butler in for Kemba. Trae in for Lowry? Not a chance.

Playing him was the right move, don't get me wrong, he just chocked a few times, it happens.

I thought his defense was amazing in the 4th. I don't recall him getting scored on.

As I said, I don't think he was great but all the Raptors fans are putting it on him when Lowry was the one who came up with the crucial errors.

If they can call terrible fouls, errant plays and missing certain assignments defense then sure Lowry had good defense in the 4th quarter i guess lol. My main thing here is i know Traes not good on defense and don't expect him to ever be great at it nor would he have been great out there in the 4th quarter tonight. But i also saw just as bad defense and terrible fouls from Lowry out there for most of the 4th quarter and im just calling it how it is. If i had seen the same from Kemba i would be calling for him to but i thought he played much better than Lowry did. So to me if Lowry wasn't gonna give much better defense than he did i don't need him in there screwing the offense and team over as much as he did. I can replace that with a guy that can play better offense and get others involved more and better. If lowry had been having a better game on offense or defense i wouldn't be calling for trae to be in there over him. Im not calling for trae to be in there over Kemba because kemba was doing solid overall.

It wasn't a real game, though. Nurse was catering to the vote-in line-ups, like Vogel, with the one exception of two 2nd year players who will be in every ASG for the next decade. They sat this one out to the benefit of the fans and at the expense of the fanboys.

Watching Paul in the ASG really made me want to see him compete for a championship. This guy is so good. He and Lowry were the two smallest guys on the court and were impacting every play.

Jimmy would have handled the pressure better.

In the end team Giannis was really out gunned, which is Giannis fault.

Very weird all star btw, 4 starters in the west (only 3 players were from the east) play less than reserves.

In the east team 3 starters played less than reserves, Trae only 16 min, why?

Also, which was the duration of last quarter? 8 min? 10?

Jimmy had 4 turnovers in 12 mins...like stupid turnovers. He was drunk or high or both. Only explanation as to why he didn't play over kemba or siakam.

Was be actually? Is he hurt? I wonder if nurse was aware of this and played him anyway to hurt the Celts. I'd like the guy even more.
But on a serious note, he loves playing two small ball handling guards at the same time.

The last quarter wasn't timed as they were playing to a "target score" like you would in pickup basketball.

I loved that he was playing D. The first time he did it the refs weren't sure if they should call charges in the all-star game. But they changed their tune after everybody started clearly caring. I was pulling for Lowry to get MVP if they won. Made 3 crucial defensive plays fairly late.

Let me say that if he was on my team I would have probably loved it lol but watching him flop around out there and taking away the game winning harden 3 kinda ruined this great game. Ended up being a free throw contest at the end which was a buzzkill. Lowry out there playing hockey bouncing off everybody

Na the harden call was correct. Harden extended his arm to get separation. The only reason people are outraged is because it was a late call.

Kyle Lowry reached in before any contact happened from Harden. That should have been been a personal foul on Lowry, 2 FTs for Harden. At best, the reach in and the push off would offset, no call. Harden drains that three and the game is over.

I swear the ref was going to let it go because he knew that Lowry reached in prior, but at the last moment decided to call a offensive foul.
