He has two first names so I approve of Isaiah Joe on principle.

Jordan Nwora cost himself millions with his disappearing act this weekend. Still like him over Okoro. Oh, and Cassius Winston is a professional basketball player. Lastly, Jalen Smith (Maryland) will come out in this weak class even though he's two years in the G-league from a rotation spot.

Hey snidely, thanks a million for always being the super scout/GM that you are. Each year in doing my depth chart I have often found different ways to do it. This year I wanted to avoid more of the bigger names and focus on the unseen which is different than years past where I would rank the highly scouted first. The reason is so many will be talked about and drop out before the draft deadline is here. My plan was to give a FULL depth chart right after March Madness (which I still might wait to do) when everyone has declared and just roll out a few names here and there that wont be talked about much. But you ALWAYS inspire me so I will more than likely give another depth chart before weeks end and include many more projected picks including "ALL" the players that you have ranked above.

Hey guys this is another DEPTH CHART. This will be my last until april. Many of these players I gave a first glance
to and walked away (or typed away unimpressed) but after reevaluating them some have caught my eye.

PG - I have grown to like RJ Hampton and Theo Maledon a lot more who I thought were a bit overrated.

SG - I have now moved LaMelo Ball into the number 1 spot as to who I would take if fell to us.

SF - This is the BIGGEST jump for me. After reevaluating Leandro Bolmaro, I have become a HUGE fan. This dude should be considered for our first pick.

Right now I think we should consider

LameLo Ball
Killian Hayes
Leandro Bolmaro
Isaiah Joe
James Bouknight
Deni Avdija

In that order...

These are the ONLY players I would consider for our first pick. I think we should trade back and see if we can get a future 1st
thrown in

I'm just speaking for me, but I don't really read or engage with your depth chart because they change so frequently and candidly it doesn't seem like you put much effort into talking about specific prospects. I think you'd get way more meaningful feedback and be perceived as providing more value if you focused more on breaking down individual prospects and less on frequently posting a huge list of rankings.

Just my two cents, you do you.

Makur Maker is eligible for this years draft. I know absolutely nothing about him other than he is a top center coming out of this years highschool class and is suppose to go to Oregon.

I was somewhat a fan and rated him last year, I might have rated him the year prior but do not remember. From what I remember he is very thin and plays PF. He has decent ball handles and good passing skills. I can't remember him as a shooter. I wouldn't mind using our 2nd 2ndrounder on him.

It's just white noise at this point. Though I WOULD love to see him run an NBA franchise. It would be hilarious. That YUTA/Tony Carr pick and roll would be carving up the league by now.

I honestly don't know exactly how I feel about these draft "analysis'"... They are ridiculous but I also can't look away :banghead:

Its all about preference (you cant please everyone)

I post the list to show who is out there to be drafted so that you don't have to go looking all over to find out.

Some people dont want to go digging around for players. I not only post players the experts post but also guys like
Isaiah Joe etc... and what could be available to us when we select. Sometimes I post more about certain players.

I disagree in that I don't post what certain players bring to the table. I have posted what I like about Isaiah Joe,
Zagars, Killian Hayes, McDaneils etc... and if I haven't I think you might have been expecting too much.

If I did post more about them i'd be lying because there is no way I could find out THAT MUCH about these players with
all thats changing in such a short time.

I get very enthused about the draft because it is the time that we can actually change things about our team. Other than that we have to enjoy what often ends up as a mediocure season.

For every YuTa and Tony Carr there is, there is also a Jalen McDaniels and Devonte Graham. Im not a bragger at all but (two players who I feel I hit on) Its hit or miss.

Here is a player below who I am gonna post named Jalen Smith who I feel would make a good center for us in the second round. Probably wouldn't know about him if you hadn't heard about him on this board or was a follower of his team. If not for me (not that I am looking for recognition) but you might have to just know about the top 10 picks only, (which would get boring) rather than finding out about a Jalen Smith or AJ Lawson Or Isaiah Joe. Sometimes bringing up a discussion is all thats needed.

Potential center for us

I think he could make a great 6th man for us

I'd draft Toppin and just go small inside if I were the Hornets, it's either him or one of the Guards in your likely range imo

My DREAM (but of course it wont happen) is for us to trade back on draft night and pick up a future first rounder. Then draft Killian Hayes first. Then for some luck of the draw have Leandro Bolmaro fall to us at 32. Then another luck of the draw have Isaiah Joe fall to us for our 3rd pick. Then have Jalen Smith and AJ Lawson or CJ Ellerby go undrafted and sign them. Then sign YuTa and Pinson. New lineup

Graham
Hayes
Bolmaro
McDaneils
Smith

Rozier / Pinson
Joe / Lawson
Bridges / Ellerby
Washington / YuTa
zeller / Biz

No way this happens but what a dream this would be lol.

I just want to see LaMelo Ball in Atlanta. LET IT HAPPEN. Him and Trae will either be an unstoppable force or a total shítshow. Either way I would tune in for it.

They'd give up 75 a game between them

I'm not that high on us taking DENI AVDIJA, but I think our franchise will go in that direction.

I would rather....

PICK 1 - Killian Hayes, LaMeLo Ball, James Bouknight

PICK 2 - Leandro Bolmaro, Josh Green, Aleksej Pokusevski

PICK 3 - Isaiah Joe, Malcolm Cazalon, Ty-Shon Alexander

SL INVITES - Trendon Watford, Yam Madar, Emmitt Matthews Jr.

According to this site

https://www.draftsite.com/nba/mock-draft/2020/

I MIGHT have a chance of my dream of HAYES, BOLMARO AND JOE coming true. WIth our 1st pick we can take Hayes and they have no listing of Bolmaro (so maybe he can still be available) and Joe is slotted to go 2 picks before we get our final pick which is RIGHT-THERE for the taking.

for my part, i hope Bolmaro is not picked here. He is nowhere close - size, weight, overall talent - to what Ginobili was (even though he is younger than manu when he was in Bologna). For the record, Hezonja was a star with Barcelona..
And under contract with Barcelona means heavy buy out (and being kinda 'forced' to play him)

I assume next draft will provide prospects where this team has the most glaring need, a sg and a center. At least with the two best picks.

March madness will probably affect a lot of those rankings anyway.

Knowing in next drafts (2021/2022) there will be a lot of interesting bigs (Ballo, Garuba, Bates, Wembanyama..). This one is much more about fixing some needs but also using those picks wisely to increase overall trade value (which means no euro stash like what happened with the lith').

I always appreciate your international expertise. You are so appreciated and needed on this board. Especially around draft time lol.
