When is Kennard coming back?

Post#1 » by Kaboom3 » Tue Feb 18, 2020 6:33 pm

This is getting ridiculous. Casey said he would be back after the break. That's not happening because the team has said absolutely nothing about him playing Thursday night and pretty sure he has not practiced yet either. Should have traded him. 35 year old body on a 23 year old. :banghead:

Traded him for what? A second rounder? We tried to a get a first for him, but nobody was biting. There really is no upside in selling low on a young player.

They had a 1st for him but the deal hit a road block when they could not agree on the protection of the 1st round pick. They should have agreed to any 1st round pick. Kennard is a bust and will be out of the league in 3-5 years due to injuries.

Given the Suns history it's likely they wantes protections that eventually turned that first into 2 2nds after a few years.

No point selling Luke in that scenario

He's coming back when he recovers from the hangover.
Any day now... any day.

Let him fully recover. No point in bringing him back too early and risking aggravating the injury. Besides, he'd hurt the tank.

A promising Pistons Dukie's career ends prematurely due to injuries like bad knees?
We've been up and down that Hill before, I'll Grant you that.

Clever, I’ll give you that.

But Luke and the last true superstar this franchise has ever had should never be linked. Grant Hill had 6 incredible years here. It’s not his fault the organization couldn’t build a competent team around him. He gave them everything and what he got in return was a mismanaged injury that derailed his career. I don’t blame him for not wanting anything to do with this franchise.

His #33 should be hanging from the rafters.

Basically, tendonitis in both knees. Basketball is hard on the body. He might have periods of health then acting up again. Reading reddit threads about people with tendonitis in their knees sounds like its something that doesnt go away in many cases.

I'm not taking this thread seriously until a medical report leaks.
(Quoting Arnie Kander on this situation would count, here. :) )

When the games don't matter, he's right there when you need him!

And yes, I realize he was our best performer in the playoffs last year. Like I said, I'm not taking this thread seriously until I know more about his health status.
