Millsap is overpaid at 30M, no doubt, but even if his personal stats are lower than before, he still has the best impact of the DEN players. They are way better with him than without him, more than any other players, especially on defense.
This season, their offense on 100 poss. goes from 110pts to 113pts, and their defense from 113pts to 104pts... highest difference of the DEN roster
I had no problem trading Parsons and two secound round picks for him if we were sure to re-sign him at 10M next season and get a veteran 6th man leading all the young guys
