Tracy McGrady was a 7x All NBA player and 2x scoring champ. How does Bosh's resume come anything close to that, either than getting to play alongside LeBron and Wade. McGrady was the far superior player.
McGrady never made it out of the first round in his entire career(not counting when he rode the bench in SA). Bosh is a 2x NBA champion and went to 4 straight finals.

Over KG ?

Honestly if I were Bosh or any other player I'd want to wait till next year so my career didn't look meh in comparison to Kobe,Duncan, Kg.
Pierce's final year was 2016-2017, KG/Duncan/Kobe/Bosh final season was 2015-2016. Pierce wasn't eligible this year, his first year of eligibility is next year, its 4 years after retirement.
I forgot he hung on 1 year too long with the Clips. He should be in before Bosh anyway.

TMac could have stayed and played with Vince and challenged for rings. But he left seeking individual glory, and won nothing. Bosh has rings.

Not to take anything away from KG, but those saying Bosh shouldn't even be considered in the same conversation must have forgotten his impact against Boston. KG was having a field day vs the Heat when Bosh was out with the abdominal injury. That completely changed when he returned to play big minutes in the last two games. Both elimination games for Miami.
Also, we aren't even talking about "first ballot HOF". These are FINALISTS. He's not worthy of even being on the ballot? Come on son....Spoiler:

That’s some **** luck with the timing. Being a “first ballot” HoFer has an extra distinction to it that he’s deserving of...

false tmac joined a star superior to Vince in his move back home. almost had tim Duncan to go with Hill to boot.
lots of inferior players have won more than bosh too. what's your point?

Bosh will get in some time before 2030.
This is KG's first year of eligibility.
That being said, Bosh will definitely be in the Hall, the guy is an eleven time All-Star. He may just not be a first ballot.

Maybe it should be the basketball hall of fame and there is a special section for "Great American Players"?
Basketball has become an international sport but its popularity and dominance start and reside in the United States, a phenomenon that has existed for decades. The overall competition in the United States is much steeper than in other countries; it's only been in recent years that foreign countries started beating the United States' college all-star teams regularly.
The NBA is far and away the top professional basketball league in the world. It's also the most influential and has the majority of the top-level players, even with the emergence of international players.
P.S. Dino Radja was putting up decent numbers on some bad Boston teams led by Chris Ford and M.L. Carr. The Celtics never won more than 35 games in a season during Radja's four years. The fourth-leading scorer for the 1993-94 team was a 40-year-old Robert Parish, then a fading Dominique Wilkins was the team's leading scorer in 1994-95.
It was his body of work outside of the USA that got him into the HOF.
He won a Silver medal with Yugoslavia but the big one was a Silver medal with Croatia in the 1992 Olympics once Croatia was independent. He also won 2x Golds at the EuroBasket in 89/91.. There are plenty of junior medals as well.
He also won 2x Euro titles, 2x greek league titles (1x finals MVP), 3x Yugoslav champion, 2x Croatian league winner...
