LOL NO. Jordan's offense gave the Bulls SIX championships. LOL.

If that's the way to look at it, Duncan's defense gave the Spurs FIVE championship. Not exactly far away to LOL at, is it?..
The issue with per75 numbers;
36pts on 27 fga/9 fta in 36 mins, does this mean he'd keep up the efficiency to get 48pts on 36fga/12fta in 48 mins?
The answer; NO. He's human, not a linearly working machine.
Per75 is efficiency rate, not actual production.

Relative to position, you gotta go Mike.

There were numerous PF/C's that were more dominant defensively than Duncan, can you say the same thing about Jordan?

Relative to position, Jordan trumps all. That's why he's proclaimed as the GOAT.

Jordan is not arguably the GOAT because of his defensive impact...

Jordan had the luxury of solely focusing on scoring with a myriad of elite defenders by his side and GOAT coaching.

The worshiping of Jordan as some deity who had no flaws in his game and did everything perfectly is perplexing to say the least. Are we watching the same sport? It's the NBA and it's a team game. Not 1v1 blacktop.

Jordan's offense created opportunities for his teammates. Duncan can anchor their defense but an offensive player would always have the advantage over the defense.

Jordan is the best perimeter defender of all-time and the best scorer at the same time. That's why he trumps everyone relative to his position.

Duncan had the luxury of solely posting up with a myriad of great players by his side and GOAT coaching. Back at you bro.

I'll just come out and say it;
The Jordan fans are the most insufferable and delusional fans in this part of the message board.
The issue with per75 numbers;

Of course everyone here will vote Duncan. 90% of this fan base loves Lebron or modern players aka will vote against Jordan regardless. This was made obvious in the midrange thread and by all of the Jordan myths around here, like that he can’t play help defense. I’d like to keep it between two players, but you’ll only get a realistic poll elsewhere.

The jordan Lebron giannis thread should have made that apparent. You know before creating this how biased the PC forum is.

If you asked players this? You’d be surprised.

Why are you having a fit Duncan is one of the best defenders ever.

Why would vote based on that? The question is who was a better defender.

Not even close

You may be able to argue guard but he doesnt compare to bigger wings.

Jordan wasn’t even the best perimeter defender on the Bulls lol

Informal warning: this is considered baiting. Don't post like that again or an official warning will be issued. Thanks.
