The good thing Cohen (and us) is that there aren't many people who can come up with this kind of money who also wants to own the Mets. So the Wilpons are not in the best bargaining position imo.

We have a LF controversy. It'll be very interesting to watch Cespedes play in his first spring training games.

I would And1 this post but it would be insufficient praise.

At this point, we don't even know if he's capable of playing the outfield.

Also, I've read that Lowrie is damaged goods. Still has to play with some large brace on his knee. And we could've had LaMahieu.

I can't sh.it on BVW right now because he did make us a playoff contender this year. Lowrie will go down as one of the headscratchers in his tenure. Almost like giving Julio Franco a multi-year deal

At least Dolan would spend the money. I always thought that Dolan was better suited for the Mets and the Wilpons were better suited for the Knicks.

I’m sorry to pass this news on for a number of obvious reasons and, of course, we all hope he’ll be okay. That said, we should’ve traded him for Marte. It’s always something with this guy.

That appears to be the case ... but you never know with this klutz. He doesn't know how to cook chicken. He takes a dumb and pinches a nerve in his neck. What's next with this guy?
