NC State and Dallas were bad teams. He folded and quit on them too.

Fair, but get him out of here because he will never be productive here.

best thing for DSJ is probably to go to the hornets. it seems the hometown hero thing is what really empowers and drives him

DSJ wouldn't be able to crack the starting lineup in CHA either.

Pouring salt on the wound, but I randomly went back to frank's rookie year to check his 2 man net ratings. He had like a +6.5 with KP in 300+ min... it's really damn weak that KP couldn't step up and take on that franchise player role. Even AD who eventually asked out gave the pelicans 6.5 seasons, and they weren't doing him any favors. Frank/KP together is the core of an elite defense that could've really thrived with the right moves. What a waste.

The Knicks were not interested in bringing him back and now the people who made that decision won't be here for long. He'd also be getting crucified right now by almost anyone who doesn't understand that he'd need more a season after coming back to see what he'd actually be as a player.

If the knicks were winning right now with him, no one would care about his weak scoring efficiency. He has nice potential offensively (and health could be part of that), but it's clear his real impact right now is on the defensive end.

not really true. When he was here he was getting **** on for not being Towns efficiency wise, even though he had Towns beat as a defender. I'll just say It was a Mistake for the knicks to not extend him, but people will convince themselves otherwise, as if we had better alternatives.

Steve Mills was a company man. I don't believe anything he says. Again, if the knicks were winning his efficiency wouldn't matter. If they were losing of course he'd get **** on by some fans because they have no patience.

Hoping to see a lot more on the offensive side of the ball from him. Not sure how long it will be but...he will have had plenty of time to work on his shooting and other things by then. I am huge fan of the kid in every other aspect of the game. He needs to be more aggressive on offense and hit open looks.

That summer league thing is equivalent to drew league games and Rucker park.. etc. So don’t put much stock into that thing.

Also he should be social distancing. Michael Beasley participated in one of these similar pick up games with other NBA players and tested positive for the coronavirus. Not a good decision to do this
