So much hoopla the Nets got for getting KD & Kyrie and got a total of 20 games from either of them this year.

Imagine if they came to the Knicks, we would gotten so much sh*t about it.

And Young is looking for the refs to send him to the free throw line on every offensive possession.

Yeah I hate that. Him, Luka, Harden, etc love to do that sh*t. It just ruins the game

Good law school friend of mine is a Sixers season tickets holder and is very down on the team. Embiid is too immature. Brown won't run PnRs in the half court. If Simmons is not running PnRs, he's useless. Yada yada. Totally frustrated with his team.

Richardson could be right. Ball don't lie. Except when we play. lok

I don't even see what the big deal is. They knew this season was just a warm up anyway while they wait for KD to come back and as far as I can tell that plan is still on track, so I'm not celebrating until they're bad again next year

If this was us we'd just be celebrating the fact we got another high draft pick with kyrie and kd set to come back next year

The mere fact that he hasn't created any problems speaks very highly of him. Even if Leon/Dolan want to go with CAA people down the road, there's nothing wrong with a little continuity while you sort things out. This summer is not a big free agent class anyhow. I feel like the most imporant thing to draft well and acquire as much young athletic talent as possible. We seem to be in a good position to do that right now if we don't screw it up.

Well they have the same amount of wins as the bulls now. And it hurts our 2nd rounder. So I could have gone either way on that game. Glad the Hawks won though. Keep it coming Trae

I hate this built-in excuse. This was supposed to be Kyrie's year to lead the Nets deep into the Playoffs.

And what they got was two injury prone max players instead. I don't see how Kyrie's injury problems just dissolve next season, he's been injured literally every season. KD is a question mark but it's gonna take him a while to get back into the groove of things. Next thing you'll know it'll be year 3, will they still have the same built-in excuse then?

KD/Kyrie will be a disaster next year. Two years from now will be even worse.

Know how I know?

Because IT WAS DOLAN’S PLAN A, B, and C. It will fail and it will fail spectacularly.

Does he just not know you're a knicks fan or what? Why is he telling you about his first world nba problems

Oh, he knows. When he whined to me about his "problems" it didn't even compute in my world. I said "Wait, you're complaining and there's a good chance you'll be in the NBA ECF and you're complaining to me?" Yeah, but you don't understand, blah blah. "Yeah, I understand. You spent all this money on season tickets and now you're acting like a little girl."

Exactly. While you can argue that it is best case that neither KI or KD play and they get a high pick, that was not the plan. In fact, they may win more games without Kyrie. Don't sleep on Dinwiddie. Kyrie had a lot to prove this year IMO and hasn't.

You can't really blame a team for jumping at getting those two guys, but it did wrong that they had the season they had last year and dumped DLO. Turns out it was less DLO, but KI didn't make a difference either.
