Maybe he goes to the Clippers with Mook. He will have interest: Lakers who are wanting somebody with Reggie J and Collison saying No!; maybe the Heat to back up Bam; maybe the Raptors. I don't think the Bucks as they just got somebody I think. HIs market should be strong. He is too tall for the Rockets![]()

Anyways, I know that no one here thinks that Markieff is a viable option, nor would he ever consider coming back to the valley. But I think that considering we have a new, more player friendly front office, And Bowers has a connection with him through Detroit, It'd at least be worth looking into. Again, He's a veteran 4 with face up capabilities, And has been hitting the 3 at a 39% rate overall. He'd also bring a level of toughness and an edge to our team for our late season push.
I just think that his time away from Phoenix and apart from his brother may have very well given him an added level of maturity and perhaps even a more professional perspective than before. So at the very least, I'd enquire about the possibility.
Nevermind, I just read the 2nd tweet that you posted.

Bower doesn't have any connection with Markieff, he wasn't there when they signed him.
And Markieff Morris is a mediocre player who is not better than Saric. Why are we gonna try to sign him over Saric or even over Kaminsky who has a TO for $5M? And obviously he is worse than Baynes.
Just look at his play and numbers during this last couple of years... Markieff is a decent backup PF at best who has past his prime (31 years old before the start of next season). I want to upgrade our roster, not to be worse next season.

Gambo is reporting the Suns will not be bringing back either Baynes or Saric next year. Again, if he is right, he will let us know. If he is wrong, well "things changed, my sauces got it wrong."
Kaminsky on a team option seems to be a no brainer unless you need cap space for the RIGHT LONG TERM player.
Say the Suns sign a player or two in Free Agency that are one year deals with team options in year two, keep Kaminsky and Diallo
That would be a decent amount of expiring contracts for the summer of 2021: Oubre, Frank, Diallo and two free agents.
Something to think about - thats why Millsap might make a lot of sense especially with how the current starting 5 are playing.

Phoenix is 7-3 when Booker, Ayton, Baynes and point guard Ricky Rubio are all available to play, and 14-12 when Booker, Baynes and Rubio are available.

I’d prefer a Drago vs Apollo ending except they both beat each other to death
