GT: Nets @ Hornets 7:00pm EST 2/2/20

Post#1 » by MrDollarBills » Sat Feb 22, 2020 3:55 pm

Okay, the game vs Philly was disappointing but this team is headed in the right direction. Tonight we begin a stretch of games vs opponents that are all under us in the standing. We are 4 games under .500 and a win streak against these next set of opponents puts us right where we need to be to maintain our hold on the 7th seed.

The Hornets have played us tough all season, so this won't be easy but if we can defend the 3 point line from Graham and if Allen and DJ can control the glass we can do this. I expect nothing short of 40+ points combined from Caris and Spencer

Graham was amazing in the last game. Definitely need to do whatever we can to keep him from going off again.

I'd like to see Big Jay have a strong outing tonight. I'm sure he's a little disappointed about the 6ers game.

If he ain't putting up 15&10 next 4 games I'm going to flip out. 30 min 20 and 10 is what he has to produce from now on, otherwise he needs to go.

I don't think Jarrett needs to average 20 and 10, but he needs to get his ass in gear. DeAndre has been considerably better than he has been for awhile now, and frankly you have to question Allen starting over him right now.

Man he needs to start producing any type of offense period. He's unplayable right now just because of that. Just pay attention how many opportunities we miss with him on the floor. I've been saying it for a while now not because I want to ahte on a kid. He just kills this team being liability and it will get harder from now on.

This is bad team we should be able to put away. If we still struggling than we got huge issues and need to start considering rotation changes.

Why Kenny keep playing Joe with Prince all the time. How much is enough to understand they don't fit together.

Happy for TLC. He really shoving it down my throat with his game. If he's going to improve consistently we won't need 3pg.

That's the difference. DJ will attack a mismatch. But that's also the experience factor coming into play.

DJ is a grown man playing with kids out there. I like this stretch right now. This is concerning too. Prince and Joe has chemistry issues. This far into a season and they still struggling to build anything consistent.

Nic has any experience? Ok than. Allen is a scary and you know that. He needs some push from teammates, coach or IDC who but get some moves.

TLC with 4 fouls hurts. His defense was solid out there

Nic imo has a different game though, he's more skilled and imo a PF in our system in the long run.

But yeah, Allen needs to add something around the rim. A hook shot and a paint pull up J should already be apart of his moveset
