Just saw this on Twitter. Wonder if she’s doing this cause she anticipates the other families to sue her/Kobe’s estate and needs to protect herself? Seems kind of pointless otherwise - pilot is dead, and I’d assume her net worth far exceeds all the parties she’s suing?

Oooooof Vanessa and it looks like their oldest daughter are there. I think family members of the others who lost theirs lives are there as well.
Can't imagine what they must be feeling. She looks to be struggling through it. Hard to see.

There was a link they had you sign up for. If you were chosen, then you'd be able to purchase tickets. If not, you were sent an email that said you'd be on the wish list.
I tried getting a ticket, but was put on the wish list.

Yes. Not sure on all the details, but I'm pretty sure all the money goes to the Mamba & Mambacita Sports Foundation.

Jimmy Kimmel is almost infamous for fake crying and he is mean and conflicting . I couldn't get that from my head.

What a strange timeline we live in: Michael Jordan helps Vanessa walk down the stairs after she completes her eulogies.

Says to me that MJ and Kobe were closer than the public knew, even though people know they had a strong relationship.
Damn there are so many NBA personalities here, I'd love to see someone compile a list.

Re: Kobe Bryant Discussion, Part Two
Am i the only one who finds some of this a bit over the top of good taste?
I get it, Kobe had a massive influence on so many people's lives, mine included, and i wish the Bryant family nothing but the best going forward and in dealing with this tragedy. But something about these types of memorials just gives off a weird emotional masturbation type of vibe to me.
People coming together to listen to the same 15 minute pre-written paraphrased speeches about how Kobe was an unmatched competitor and his advice to how never give up and pursue your goals in life, and how Gigi would have simultaneously been the best WNBA player and mother of all-time...
I guess people need events like this to keep a sense of humanity/unity among themselves or something. It's hardwired in our human nature, except now it's amplified to an unreal degree, and i'm listening to some female college basketball player talking about how Kobe was sending her #BEASTMODE and flex emoji texts after she posted a triple double in her game.

Re: Kobe Bryant Discussion, Part Two
Can we get a list of all the nba players that are there right now?
I've seen MJ, Harden, Westbrook, Klay, Pau, Paul George, Shaq etc. Seems like all the top people are there.
