I'll be at this one. Even with our recent woes, I'm hoping the Hornets won't be too much trouble.

Holiday got the start in place of Oladipo. We tried playing Goga but ultimately Jakarr really got the extra bench minutes with Sumner inactive (what's his injury?) thus far.
Something I'm seeing is that everyone's playing with much better energy, and Myles absolutely set the tone in the 1st quarter with 4 blocks. The other big thing is that we have really been causing mis-matches, and then hunting those out and truly attacking them all out. It's something that we are truly good at, and we're at our best when we do it effectively. We just hadn't done it for awhile.

Turner with career high 8 blocks.

I'm super happy to see a win, but man the Hornets could have at least showed up lol. Several times on the third quarter they stopped the Pacers from getting a fast break dunk, and I was just like come ooooooon lol.Wizop wrote:We too. Section 19. If only the Pacers could play like this every game
But I guess the problem is they don't play the Charlotte Hornets every game
Once Myles got going he really got going
I know that the box score frequently doesn't reflect Myles' impact on the game, but I really wouldn't mind seeing him getting his blocks numbers up
Thing is, one of the things that Myles still has a problem with sometimes is having fouls called against him early, which would then derail him somewhat the rest of the game
The refs tend to give more leeway to star players, and if Myles could consistently lead the league in blocks it'll probably result in more calls going his way

Even bigger, of his 8 blocks, Indy immediately gained possession of 7 of them and the 8th went out of bounds. Truly turnovers in most cases and absolute game changers.
