I got these videos saved. I look forward to revisiting them in May/June.

That literally isn't happening, like at all. There is more than ESPN and pretty much none of the US media cared about anything other than LBJ vs Zion last night.

Fact of the matter is were 2nd in the east and won the championship last year. Boston, Miami and Sixers are a tier below Milwaukee and Toronto. To discount the Raptors after this loss is typical of American media but that much sweeter when the Raptors make em look like idiots.

And in my opinion, Bucks were a better team last year with Brogden. I do not fear any Deers...unless it involves my insurance.

Lik I said, the US media other than ESPN didn't care about Bucks v Raptors, just like it's been the entire season. Everything was LBJ v Zion.

That's absolutely false. They started the narrative on TNT with two of the worst in Shaq and Wade right after the game. Then same BS this morning on ESPN and FS1. I agree it was dominated by Lbj and Zion talk.

Oh wells, they dumb anyways! Reactionary garbage and picking sides in arguments for likes and retweets

Personally, I find ESPN's infatuation with spectacular individual performances in detriment to the teams' performances, to be more damaging to the sport than its focus on particular teams.

When the Raptors paddle-spanked the Lakers in their own arena, delivering their first home defeat of the season minus Lowry and Ibaka, in what ranks as one of the greatest regular season victories in franchise history, in which they held Lebron James to his lowest scoring game of the season, their main focus of the affair was that Anthony Davis had put up 27 points.

It sells an adorable childlike fantasy view of what basketball really is.

We're still in the preseason.

SInce the regular season doesn't indicate what will happen in the postseason, I assume that there is nothing to indicate that the Raptors can beat the Nets in the first round of the playoffs?

Miami was about to had the T-Wolves their 19th loss in their last 20 games with a 12 point lead with 3:59 to go in the 4th.

20-5 run to end the game for Minny!

lol Is it Nurse's fault that Lowry and Ibaka stunk it up on offense (Davis in the 1st half)? He did go with FVV a while in the 3rd and 4th.

We've got the best coach in the league, any Raptor fan who complains about him is a tool. So at least he got that part correct.

I think it's been generally accepted that we would have done better if some of our guys (...Serge...) made their open shots. However, something has to be said about good defensive teams shutting down the first 2 options thereby putting pressure on your 3rd, 4th and 5th options to make their open shots because that becomes your main source of offense. We saw it in the Derozan years. We would harp on PatPat and Demarre for not making open shots because other teams were clogging up Demar's and Kyle's offense.

Another point to be made in favour of Milwaukee is on points off turnovers. Transition scoring has been our bread and butter all year and we average 19.9ppg in points off turnovers. Against Milwaukee, we only had 5 and that all came in the 1st half.

There's no excuse for missing that many free throws though.

Dalek wrote:While I am not bitter about the game I am bitter that Masai didn't take a small risk to improve the team. Marvin Williams would have been a great add. I would have given up a pick and player for him, which I am sure Charlotte would have been interested in.

Instead, for the second year in a row the Bucks get the guy Toronto should have got.

That said, I would have traded RHJ for him and I thought RHJ did really well tonight. Not sure I trust Rondae as a decision maker, but his energy is something the team feeds off of in a Lowry like way.

Trading for Marvin really wasn't an option. He was on a 15M deal that the Raptors would have needed to match in salary.

Bron and bron to be Zion are big news... Siakam is not, nor is a team not from the USA.... THATS HOW AMERCIANS MOSTLY THINK...

Vince carter was the only Superstar in Raps history who dominated media wherever he played and when he played... as he was a superstar and exciting... UNTIL Kawhi...

You cant change the way people think...
