The Bulls team was way worse than this Miami team that he basically willed into the playoffs, you really should go look at who were the starters for that team. He's in distribution mode and that's fine if you have a lot of talent, Miami has talent but it's inexperienced talent, Butler needs to just start scoring.

My expectations just went out the window. Not going to sweat the remaining games of the season nor the one playoff series loss. Develop the young guys, see who we can get in the draft & what FA we can possibly get in the offseason. I'm done thinking this team can go places. Spo needs a reboot, like a kick in the azz from Riley. Butler has his hands full trying to get this team back on track. Has he requested a trade yet?

Gallinari probably would have helped stop those huge scoring droughts Miami seems to love to have in the 2nd half of games to give up huge leads they've created. I'm fine giving bigger players who don't count on their athletic ability contracts in their early 30s.

I'd like to be with Spo on this but no team needs to lose to ATL, Cavs, Minny in a week to get better at basketball. But we're in a funk, have some injuries and Jimmy personal reasons.

And we can't possibly get any worse so there is that.

Oh, there is a way for it to get worse, Miami's only real rim protector on the roster could miss some games.

I know the NBA as a whole is scoring a lot more, but we need to go back to playing tough defense with great bigs. We're built to be the Rockets, and that's not us. Especially since we don't have a Harden. The teams above us all play tough defense and have good bigs. It's sad that our defense is that bad that we're hoping for Meyers Leonard to comeback. Even if we were completely healthy, this defense is bad from top to bottom. The culture and foundation needs a complete reboot. This team plays way too fast. We play like we want to score 150, but we should be playing like we want to keep teams in the 90s or low 100's.

Teams dribble twice and they beat us.
