Question about JI

Post#1 » by OrlandoSaban » Thu Feb 27, 2020 3:36 am

I’ve been Very busy with work and stuff so I haven’t been able to follow things as much as I wish, but is there a timeline for when he will return to the lineup?

Thanks

He's doing light shooting now, so an educated guess is that he'll be back in mid March.

It's been 8 weeks since the injury and originally said, they'd reevaluate him in 8-10 weeks

If he's completely healthy not sure why they would wait for him to play until next year. They've been very cautious by sitting him this long.

Everything that’s been said publicly by Weltman and reported by Robbins and others leads me to believe he’s not playing again this year.

From what Isaac said i think they give him a chance to return to motivate him during rehabilitation. Isaac is literally Weltman favorite, if he is totally healthy and wants to play i cant see him say no. But thats if he is totally healthy.
My money is on Banchero going number 1 !

Exactly, no reason to sit him if he's really okay for playoffs (and a little warm up before)...if we start to fall out, I'd sit him but not likely

Yeah if JI is healthy enough to play this year and gain quality experience for our 4-0 playoff sweep I'd say go for it.
