I mean, yea. Cord cutting is now cost-prohibitive if you want your content where ever and whenever you like it. The services like Youtube TV, Hulu Live, etc. are as expensive or more than if I just bundled cable TV with my internet. Since I mostly watch Live sports I figure I might as well go that route and not have to deal with the massive lag that comes with streaming services.

Now, like I said, this is all contingent on Spectrum's online app being fully available when I'm out of my home, which I'll test tomorrow.

How much per month do you pay for cable?

Combined internet and cable is $109.

I'm at about $102 for Uverse, internet and TV. About 9 months into a 2 year deal. Every time I contact them when my deal is up they give me a lower price.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Have they ever enforced the data caps? I’ve read they have a 1 TB data cap which seems pretty low.

I'm not aware I have one but I doubt I use all that much. I'm not a gamer and I don't stream a ton, mostly the usual, Netflix, Prime, HBO.

Same boat here. Just cancelled cable two weeks ago because my promotion ended and then I found out I still have to pay the full bill after I cancelled and they disconnected my cable...

Currently in week one of YouTube trial

YouTube TV added full DVR Controls to CBS owned channels. No longer will you be forced to view the on-demand versions of programs from CBS, Smithsonian Channel, and Pop TV. This means you can now fast forward through commercials for programs you DVR’d on CBS, for example.

So for you YTTVers, did you find a way to get NFL Redzone?

Anyone use a VPN and then get an international NBA package? If so how did it work and do you get the national games (ESPN, TNT).

Also do you get the regular ESPN broadcasts with ESPN+

Trying to figure out my options once football is over, really just need the NBA games.

Damn, I was sold on YTTV until I found out it's limited to 3 devices at once. The no RZC didn't help either.

YoutubeTV couldn't come to a deal with Sinclair. No FS-WI.

Time to cancel. Huzzah.

Should I go back to sling or get Hulu? Is there any other choice?

Everything out there isn't really comparable. It has the best DVR and least buffering. I might have to go with Spectrum's TV Stream. It's at least cheaper but it doesn't allow you to view a lot of things away from your home unless you log into the app that is specific for that network like FS WI. It also doesn't work with chromecast.

I was actually just about to cancel my cable and go with YoutubeTV... This will definitely delay my decision now.

When will FS-WI be off YouTubeTV?

Hi there,
Our goal with YouTube TV is to offer you the content you love, delivered the way you want.
To make this happen, we need to enter into deals with our partners. Unfortunately, we have been unable to reach an agreement with Sinclair to continue to carry the FOX Regional Sports Networks and YES Network.
Starting February 29, 2020, you will no longer be able to watch live, on demand, or recorded content from your local FOX Regional Sports Network or YES Network.
Please know that we do not take this decision lightly. We value your membership and will continue to strive to build the best streaming experience possible.
Sincerely,
The YouTube TV team

Man, that really sucks. I have been set up with YouTubeTV for a while now. I hate how I can't even just buy NBA league pass because the games I want to see will be blacked out!

... Unless that's changed... has that changed?

I don't think fox sports is back on sling. I'll probably just get Hulu until the playoffs start than go back to YouTube

Was paying $50/month to watch literally only bucks games. Now that I'm forced to cancel I'll probably just go without a streaming service/cable.

Playoff games at a bar and $50 in my pocket every month sounds fine
