Zu looks good some games against some bigs, then looks like he's on the playground with others. He's not doing anything to bother jokic imo that's the type of inexperience that worries me about the playoffs at the center position.

Jokic is a superstar. He's not going to get "bothered" much by anyone.

Tell that to Dwight howard, brook Lopez, Robin lopez or giannis

there's a difference between playiing a guy and he's just cooking and a guy just schooling you. the latter is happening to zu, zu is biting on everything jokic is doing. tough to guard, jokic is good but the inexperience shows

To be fair, the officiating radically changed towards the end of the half. The refs stopped letting them play and started calling Harden-esque touch fouls.

dude, he was being schooled from the jump. I don't know what time you tuned in, but jokic did anything he wanted when the help didn't come. He cannot guard him by himself. He did pretty well last game for a few stretches.

Exactly and it’s about adapting to Joker. He’s trying to create off the perimeter against Zu and he’s operating in the paint against Trez. Second half I would just let Joker work his jumper but be physical and stay in front of him. He’s not a high volume scorer so if you have to play it like Towns with him getting his and stopping everyone else then so be it

lol you guys say this, but do you realize how many skilled centers/bigs are on championship contenders? The hands up defense can only work so much. Zu is great, but he's inexperienced. It shows. he's a 3rd yr player. I don't expect him to know all the tricks. He's only 22 years old. Harrell is too small and other than AD, he's not gonna guard any center.

Wtf
The nuggets beat the Lakers by 24 and took OT to lose the second game that he scored 22. Joker dropped 26 and a game winner on Embiid. They only played the Bucks once

Give Jokic his credit he was a MVP runner up and now he’s in shape

well, if this game tells us anything, it should be about whoever has the best team, and not who has the best center.

Jokic had 10 of the nuggets 12pts in the first quarter, but yes, Lets blame the refs.

Yeah, without lebron in the lineup. THat's the only time they beat them. The lakers have beat them twice at their place.

Jokic is great but you can't tell me the inexperience doesn't show. Just my opinion.

I’m not against getting a 3rd big for fouling concerns. Just saying Joker has had big games against other top teams. Tonight he has hit some tough shots like his last bucket was a tear drop falling back off the wrong foot. Like the team is trying to get Zu buckets to keep him engaged

The defense has been on point so far this half. You love to see it.

Paul George is looking like the superstar we traded for against a good team. You also love to see that.

Yeah there will be inexperience because this is still his first full season as a starter. On top of that I think he barely passed his mark for most games played in a season. Like we are having Zu score to counter the scoring balance.

Joker is hitting some tough shots this second half
