Perhaps the Hawks could really turn him into Paul George.

It must be nice playing with Trae young and other shooters. He hit some wide open 3’s from corner. You can see how much easier the game came be.
I'm apart of a Knicks podcast! You Should check it out!

Yeah KP is def cooking rn. Good for him. I bear no ill will to my fellow man. I just reserve the right to make fun of him if he can’t keep it up.

And RJ the role player.

Knicks stay f*cking up the draft.

Hopefully Rose fires the entire coaching staff and anyone involved in the drafting decision making process the last 5 years

honestly, we probably did.

From what I’ve recall reading it was the Cavs who had serious interest in RJ and would have considered moving up in that draft.

Cam might have been too much of a reach though with the 5th pick. I wouldn’t have been too mad (depending on what additional assets we would have gotten) but am sure a lot of guys here would have lost their minds if we had done that.

I got reservations about that. I do think Cam actually fits that Hawks team will better than RJ would, but I don't know if Cam would have the same success on the Knicks, whether personality-wise or skillset-wise.

2 Months ago, Cam was not a NBA player.

he’s a rookie? this doesn’t even mean anything. then again I’m never in the camp of burying players 2 months into their nba career.

He was always more talented than RJ but he had a terrible motor. If the Hawks can get him to play hard all the time then that sucks for us. Hopefully RJ will develop more skills.

Talent was not a issue with DSJ. He just forgot how to play basketball. But yes with Frank it is similar cause Frank was not that talented either. At least RJ produces somewhat despite being raw so that gives me some hope.

Via NY Post:

The Knicks, for the March 21 celebration of the 50th anniversary of their 1969-70 championship, chose not to invite Albert — the radio voice of the team and the author of one of the most legendary calls in sportscasting history.

“It would’ve been nice to see the guys,” Albert said when contacted by The Post. “I was not invited.”

Albert is considered by most accounts the greatest NBA play-by-player in history in part because of his “Here … comes … Willis” call that accompanied Willis Reed hobbling on the floor at the start of the Knicks’ Game 7 Finals’ victory over the Lakers.

Yes. He wasn't that good to begin with and the league figured him out.
Then, probably, on top o that, being out of shape and inconsistent minutes.

He was one of the top prospects in his draft. He was going at Steph Curry, Kyrie, John Wall, Kemba, Jrue Holiday, etc his rookie year. He had respect from everybody in the league. Last season he looked promising and pretty much everyone here expected him to break out this season. So I don’t buy that he was not that good.

I also don’t buy that he was out of shape. He came into camp in great shape. Go compare his weight to last year and he actually lost 10-15 lbs.

I'll go ahead and say something controversial, as bad as DSJ has been I still think he has more potential to get it together and make it in the NBA than Frank does. I don't think either one will but gun to my head I'd go with DSJ

Steve Novak was basically Larry Bird who forgot how to play basketball.
