He did mention it, and said he refused to engage Dolan when he wanted to talk.

He shook his hand and was laughing, i saw it with my own two eyes

He said they never shook hands and there was no laughing. Then he said while driving home his son read what the PR department said about them shaking hands and laughing, and he immediately called Stephen A Smith to tell him that never happened.

It's only a matter of time before Dolan releases the video of him and Spike.

This is one thing that kinda pisses me off about this board. Ya'll let Ws or Ls determine how you feel about the Knicks.

...This has nothing to do with Dolan. If you're a knick fan who's invested in the progression of the team, you don't want to see these distractions at all. They took a step in the right direction with back to back wins and solid play from their young guys, yet it's overshadowed by this. Dolan **** sucks. Doesn't mean spike doing this interview made any sense at all.

I don’t like Spike at all but I support this. Dolan needs to feel the wrath of the fan base.

Only the gullible ones fall for the ‘shiny new object to discuss my scenarios at this point, such as Leon Rose. The owner remains the same - and the Knicks will never win with him there. So I want him to continue to feel the wrath of the fans. The true fans, not the ones who eat up anything he serves them.

Not talking about you. I know you understand.

If this helps get Dolan removed I am all for this. I can't believe we are actually looking for a reason to support Dolan. He has made this franchise miserable. If he gets booted the Donald Sterling route I would be fine with it. Truthfully I feel he has wasted the fan Bases Money, time and destroyed our prestige. Lets Get Rid of DOLAN SUPPORT THIS lol

That's all I want to see.

Two versions of the story floating around. Need to put this thing to rest.

I have a solution:

Give Spike a jersey and let him play against the Jazz tomorrow.

Oh FFS, it doesn't matter if it was a dumb incident and handled poorly

Spike's over-reaction and self-absorption is much worse. So if he did have to walk around the building one damn time in his life until it got straightened out with a phone call the next day, big effing deal

This is more about Spike's sense of privilege than Dolan's policies or hiring misguided employees

Further, if Spike was truly a super fan he wouldn't be making Leon Rose's first days on the job about Spike Lee. Spike is a diva and a selfish twat

It’s almost as if Dolan supporters are like Trump supporters. They will support their Dear Leader through literally anything. Of course, unsurprisingly, our owner is a big Trump supporter and also shares his narcissistic personality.

If it exists, they absolutely should do that. Expose Spike if he was just causing a scene. Might as well make everything related to the Knicks look like clowns.

This is what any sound management would have decided. You treat your ambassadors like Spike Lee a bit better than this.

Dolan doesn't know how to handle minor issues, pouring flames (through his own stupidity) that result in the minor issue becoming major.

Nobody cares that Spike is a ‘diva’. The guy has been coming to games for 30 years. Trying to treat him like a stranger and telling to ‘leave and come back’ is ridiculous. If it happened to me - and I’m not on Spike Lee’s level - I would be pretty mad at the inconvenience. You easily settle this by saying - “hey Spike, starting next game you have to use another entrance. You can enter now but next game we’re changing the policy.” Very simple. Instead you’re trying to embarrass and inconvenience someone who has been paying your ridiculous ticket prices for 30 years for no reason.

Leon Rose - who cares? Why are we talking about him? Who is Leon Rose? Has he accomplished anything as an executive of a franchise? Right now he’s Steve Mills until proven otherwise. We didn’t ‘ruin’ Leon Rose. We’re still 19-42. We beat a good team at home in a game. That’s about it. Nothing has changed with this franchise. The same incompetence still exists.

Exactly, they never called him to notify him about the change. What a strange situation.

Nobody should look good here but Spike likely gets a pass. Just feels like piling on Dolan because he's Dolan. Not mad at it necessarily because we all want him to sell. Just wish it was stronger then "**** now I have to enter through a different way."

You rehash the same thing over and over.

If you were a Rangers fan you’d know why the team is successful and it definitely has to do with the fact of how little Dolan is involved.

Keep kissing Dolan’s ass. Maybe he’ll give you free tickets one day So you can see us lose by 35 to the Hornets while enjoying some nachos.

So spike says his ticket was scanned and told he had to use a different entrance and security escorted him to the other entrance andnto his seats, so why did he freak out again?

Even so, Spike could have resolved this without turning it into a media circus. He has channels to address it in the organization, but he'd rather cause a media frenzy that feeds his outrage and his ego. It's really pathetic
