This probably will get me flamed, but I want Beal here. He, Jaylen Brown and Tatum would be lethal. Not sure what it would take for a trade like that to work, but I love how much faith he has in Tatum. I'd say Walker and Smart, but you lose both ball handlers. Hayward is here to stay.

A starting Lineup of

C: Kanter or Theis
PF: Tatum
SF: Brown
SG: Beal
PG: Smart

We prob don’t have the assets. It would cost brown tho as a starter

I think Beal would be a great fit, but I don't want to rock the boat just yet. Walker has been great for us, Hayward's redemption is still in progress, and I definitely am reluctant to part with Jaylen and Smart.

Would anyone still trade Jayson Tatum for Anthony Davis? Serious question. I don't think I would but maybe we are taking this run Tatum is on too seriously...

Tatum has had more playoff success than Davis has. Something to think about.

Anthony Davis has showed me he can’t be a number 1 option, Tatum has.

So no.

Tatum has already shown he can outplay Davis. Factor in age and potential, plus AD's propensity for getting injured, I would not trade Tatum for Davis at this point in their careers.

Given those factors, would you trade him for anyone?
Maybe Giannis, Kawhi, Zion, and Luka? Everyone else seems too old, injury prone, or have never proven to be winners.

On a side note, would anyone trade Kemba for Kyrie straight up? h

i would not trade him for kawhi anymore i don't think. he can only be expected to play 55-65 games from here on out and that's in healty years. tatum may never reach his potential but i'm willing to take a chance

We don’t need a terrible defender who needs the ball a lot to be effective.
Are you trying to sabotage Tatum’s progress ?

Pre-injury Danny Granger or Rudy Gay.

1st of all I said it’s not a trade I’m clamoring to make. I’m nit banging the table or screaming for it. 2nd of all he’s a bad defender on Washington where all his effort has to go to scoring points. We have seen even as recently as this year a guy in kemba play more than serviceable d when they don’t have to save all their energy for the offensive end. Seen it from others as well previously under stevens.

Lastly him and Tatum are extremely close- he has Tatums ear and acknowledges publicly that Tatum is going to be better than him. So I don’t think he’ll hinder his progress at all, actually could be beneficial to Tatum.

I can only find Isiah Thomas once, Paule Pierce 3 or 4 (one time shared with Antione), and Bird 5 times as Celtics to win the award.

pretty good company.

Also, I cannot find another instance of two players from the same team winning player of the week on back to back weeks as the Jays did in Feb.

And he came back to us tonight!

Another good game. He might be a bit under the weather but he somehow ended up in Cleveland to help us get a much needed win.

There is no ceiling to Tatums game. He is an excellent chess player that can only continue to improve his craft. I will declare and say this:

If he shows that this is not some fluke, continues his offense and defense skills, has a monster playoff season he could arguably be TOP 5 NBA player.

As of now, he without a doubt is a top 10 player.

Feels good to have a legit top 10 player.

Stoked we didn’t trade him or anyone else for that matter for AD.

Tatum is 24K Gold.
