Any celebrity with those kinds of seats are offered them for free in exchange for the Garden being allowed to show them on the Jumbotron/TV and make it seem like a "happening place." Howard Stern has talked about it many times on his show.

And the celebrities that talk sh*t about the vision of the Knicks/beef with Dolan or whatever get revoked of their free ticket rights (as petty as that might be). Guys like Ethan Hawke choose not to go to games anymore, Die-hard fans like Woody Allen just buy worse tickets.

wow, learn something new everyday. thanks

regarding the bolded part: They should be! That's is like biting the hand that feeds you. Now, criticism (if constructive) should never be viewed as a diss or retaliated against.

Dolan vs. Spike Lee - hahahaha

I mean of all people you would think Spike is safe since he never criticized our dumbass owner. But even he is feeling the heat.

Sad!

Spike. You played yourself.
Not saying Dolan ain’t Dolan but you tripping.

Was it photoshop and garden spin that had you shaking Darth Dolan’s hand?

Maybe Vin Baker can be our new celebrity super fan.

Dolan should call him up again and pay him to sit courtside with him.

You can tell people just want to find a reason to hate on Dolan (SOME MORE) and Spike was the conduit. Dolan likely had nothing to do with this but because Spike wants to cry like a f*gging baby rather than recognize the changes occurred and his venom might be misdirected some of you are all in. F*ck the good feels. Rose just took over the basketball operations, RJ took over a game, we got a small victory in the new era, AT HOME, versus a team that owns us... and this f*kker wants to cap for Oakley and shine for Max Kellerman. Hate Dolan if you want but that don't make Spike Smollett any less identifiable.

Is there anything you wont defend Dolan over?

I'm waiting for you to show me a post here you criticized Dolan. Please produce one.

Is there anything you won't place at his feet? And I don't need to prove to you my feelings towards Dolan. I'll let you and Spike whine...and enjoy his story, much like Oakley's story fall apart. But I feel you'll never back down.

You don't need to prove because there's nothing to prove.

You've been on the Dolan bandwagon since the inception - defending the likes of Isiah, Marbury and everyone in between. Nothing has changed.

We've gotten to the point that respected Knicks legends and long time Knicks fans are criticizing the owner and individuals like you are still milling around telling us how the big bad media are trying to ruin our beloved Knicks.

The man is almost 300 games under .500 as an NBA owner. Nothing else needs to be said. Nothing at all.

ESPN’s gets higher ratings talking about Knicks controversy than they do speaking about Lebron and the Lakers success on the court.

I dont' really gaf about the situation between Lee and the Knicks - what is concerning is that the statement doesn't show any change. Dolan is still a petulant manchild who was handed everything. And my concern comes solely from that PR release. It's embarrassing that a business would release something that reads like that. Let alone the biggest sports franchise in the world.

None of this matters. The Knicks response to this has been abysmal. They’re the only team that has incidents like this. The only team across all of sports. Look it up.

Don Lagreca should stick to licking Dolan’s boots every time that mental midget is invited to the Kay show to read prepared statements off his binder.

Knicks are a horrible organization. As usual, no communication with your customers. All they had to do was give a heads up about the change. He went there, got his ticket scanned. That should be the end of story. You tell him there and then the policy change and next time to use the other entrance.

I really want us to have a good product on the floor so that these stories aren't the main course anymore but just a side.

Not saying we should rush and make moves for short term results.

Whether you feel I'm on the "Dolan Bandwagon" or I see you as a "Hating Dolan out of jealousy", it doesn't matter. I'm saying Spike's actions were blown WAY out of proportion and he could be wrong. I can admit if Dolan is in the wrong when I see direct proof that he made that call and it was directed to Spike. But I WILL NEVER cheer for Spike if his goal is, like yours, to make a blind claim and never back down from it which you are absolutely willing to do. You feel no desire to be rational. You only want one head to roll for Spike manufacturing a crisis, unnecessarily wounding an already battered organization by publicly going on the largest outlet famous for pouring salt in our wounds. I'll watch but I won't join in.
