Surprised we're only down 1 after that quarter.

Cody Martin with 4 TOs and Caleb Martin with 2 TOs in the 3rd after neither one of them had a single TO in the 1st H.

Can we sign the twins to cheap 10 year contracts now?

Sadly, it looks like I will be confined to boxscore watching for the remainder of the season. I know y'all will miss my witty and incisive commentary on the game threads.

I wonder if we should draft Jalen McDaneils so we can have both Martins and Both McDaniels.

Love watching the young guys play their hearts out these last few games. Rozier has also quietly been a calming presence, he's made good decisions at the end of games and sorted things out when the younger players start getting frazzled (except for the last play, ).

I like the look of Thing #1 in the starting line up.

Edit: Especially when Thing #1 goes coast to coast and double pumps a dunk down the lane like that!!

Cody Z's biggest flaw IMO is the lack of a 2nd and 3rd jump. He is athletic, but he just has no bounce which really limits him. He's pretty solid at most other things, but that missing piece is a huge one.

Terry with the Tae like bounce pass leading Cody Z for the flush!!

Thing #1 understands angles sooooooo well. He's often making really intelligent weak side cuts for easy baskets like that one.

Usually we fall apart when the opposing teams plays zone, but I like playing Bridges in the high post now the Spurs have started to play zone - he's doing a good job and making good decisions from there.

It would appear that McDaniels has a nose for the ball. Nice offensive put back off the Willy miss. He also appeared to have good position on he 2 charges he took (that were called blocks).

Who would have the worst smelling hair: Lonnie Walker or Tim Duncan?

Chealey - Thing #2 - McDaniels - 3J - Willy = NBA line up or GLeague line up? Boys are playing with some pop though!!

McDaniels with the baseline "Monk Dunk"!!

How sad must DeRozan be? Goes to a dynasty like the Spurs only to have them fall off a cliff and start to suck while the team he left and played his heart out for (Toronto) wins the title and is rolling again this season. And now on top of all that, he also has that terrible hair style to he has to endure.

Thing #1 only has 6pts so far, but it feels like he has about 20pts - such is his impact.

Way to stick with it on the offensive board McDaniels! That's the 2nd and 3rd jump that he has but Cody Z does not.

Welp, this has been a terrible first 5mins of the 3rd qtr!! Lead...............................gooorrrrrnnnnnnneeeee!!

Thing #1 and Thing #2 are a little sloppy with ball protection when they are playing the lead guard position.

That no look drop back bounce pass from Thing #1 to Bridges for the baseline jam was a thing of beauty.

Then on the very next play at the other end, Thing #1 draws (another) charge. Thing #1 has to be our best 2 way player - right? Where would he rank on the list of league wide 2 way players?

Tae - Thing #1 - Bridges - 3J - Wiseman = not a bad young starting 5.
Rozier - Monk - Thing #2 - McDaniels - Cody Z = not a bad backup 5.

3J should have snatched that out of the air, not swatted it 11 rows into the crowd. It looks pretty, but at the very least he should have kept the swat inbounds.

Terry drives really, really hard to the hoop. The kid is pretty fearless.

Terry just drove really, really hard to the hoop again.

Fantastic D by Bridges on that DeRozan shot to make him miss.

NO!!!!! Why didn't terry just drive really, really hard to the hoop again?? Why pass it? Kid drove like a boss on the last 2 offensive possessions.

And then we didn't foul?!?!?!?!?!?

Dumb.
