Trez looks exhausted he’s barely moving on defense

It would help if they didn't let Steven Adams literally walk and move when setting a screen while the defender is trying to stay on his man...lol

lol i can't blame the refs for this one, second unit wasn't even bother to contest shots. floaters were allowed.

I don't feel like we can lose this game though so I'm not worried

Shamet was fighting hard and Adams just kept moving to wherever Shamet was trying to go...lol

yeah, but trez didn't step up to contest chris paul midrange or was a half step too slow. No active hands.

Its not just trez, its the whole second unit. They kinda fumbled this lead lol

I agree. Trez is negative 3. Actually our whole bench was pretty bad defensively

Last game and phx game, our bench saved us. Now the starters are repaying the favor for the bench.

I don't think people will understand the concerns about zu until maybe the playoffs. I am hopefully wrong and that his lack of playoff experience will not be a problem in a deep run. That means we won the chip :D

But I will give it to him when its his night.

Definitely looked to be a bench game b/c OKC's got a great starting 5 but not very deep. But you never know, eh?

It's not that they look bad but Gallo's minus-22 and Shai is minus-20, the rest are not too bad. But Kawhi's going through them like tissue paper.

Zubac got a few extra minutes in there, finishing the 2nd quarter, outplaying Steven Adams' minus-8. Looked like Zu was gonna have a heart attack though when Kristina interviewed him at the break, lol.

I hope they come out in the third the way they've been coming out lately. Focused, locked in on defense and ready to put more distance between the teams.

Zubac is fine. He's 22 and gives us much-needed minutes and size. But there are 8 other guys out on the floor besides centers. It's not a key issue either way. Center is not where 95% of modern NBA games are won or lost.

And it's not like he isn't getting hacked out there. Unfortunately, that's what happens in today's league when you play basketball instead of refball (i.e. Harden).

There is a lack of playoff experience and especially deep runs all over this roster

-Paul George has not been out of the first round since the 2013-14 season and only has first round experience in the west.

-Besides Kawhi Leonard, Reggie Jackson and Marcus Morris no other rotation player has more than a one off second round playoff experience(Lou was in the second round twice).

Kawhi is the one with the championship experience and it’s one of the main reasons he’s the leader of the postseason. These guys won’t really know what they are doing until they do it because this will be new to all of them. Conference finals and NBA finals pressure will be a whole new level
