GAME DAY, BALA! GAME 60: SPURS AT HORNETS, 3-3-2020, 6PM (CT)

No time to wallow. Have to get back up for another game which is probably for the best. We need the best of what each and every player has to bring for the full game. That's it. Limit turnovers, protect the ball, and be responsible for your role. I hope we respond with the right amount of heart and hustle to get ourselves going in the right direction.

Aahh just give Timmy this one! He scouted it, so he gets the head coach assignment; looking forward to seeing how he does. I hope those who don't play their roles get the quick hook and stare lmao followed by pat on the back, of course. I suspect it'll be coaching-by-committee like last time with Becky drawing up the plays?

Pop - I hope he's ok - is reportedly returning for Friday's game in Brooklyn - https://www.poundingtherock.com/2020/3/3/21163768/tim-duncan-will-coach-the-spurs-against-the-hornets

I absolutely loathe DD's body language.

Collapsing in the paint rather than rotating out for their wide open left corner 3, stepping out of bounds on a baseline drive, missing FT. Lead or get the **** off. Averaging 16PPG the last four games. Jesus.

Loving KJ already. The kid's a bull. Gets after it defensively, disrupting a pass and forcing a turnover, blocking a shot, driving with physicality, squaring up for a 3. Instant impact on both ends. You can tell the PGs like playing with him.

DD: 1-3 at the half. **** hell.

We are allowing the ball to be handled by them too much and too easily. We also keep getting switched on for their advantageous mismatch inside so that our guards are on their bigs. Getting exploited inside, and need to box out more.

And now we're brought a first: Timmy post-game interview!
Read on Twitter

He looks a bit nervous and maybe sad or something - kind of hard to read, but anyway, I'm shocked to see him doing this. It was to be Will for the pre-game and Becky for the post-game, and here we are. Self-deprecating and giving credit to others. Would we expect anything different?

Great for Tim! Bad for us....

I love that he doesn't let reporters get away with stupid questions just like Pop. I know he has to say what he did about praising DeRozan and counting on him down the stretch but I really hope the team as a whole doesn't really feel that way. We need to move on from that.
