Shai is fun to watch when he plays like this. Ferguson is not.

Steven Adams getting fouled on a three point heave and then missing all three free throws is ridiculous.

The Pistons are red hot from behind the arc but OKC's offense has been pitiful in the 4th qtr. Seems like every position they run the clock down to under 5 seconds then end up trying to rush up a bad shot.

As I do most games, I only intently boxscore watched this one. Christian Wood is having a solid season for the Pistons, but when I saw he finished with 29 I figured it had to be a career high or at least a season high. It was at least a season high for him, but barely. He had 28 against the Spurs earlier in the season and has three games of 26 or 27 points.
At one point I saw we were up by 13 about halfway-ish into the 4th quarter, so I stopped intently boxscore watching. Then, I came back to it 10-15 minutes later and we were losing by a point late in the 4th quarter. How'd that happen?
Regardless, we got the win. Two wins away from 40 with 20 games to play. I kinda felt like 40-42 wins was our ceiling this year and it seems like we're probably going to eclipse that total semi-easily barring an epically bad collapse.

Said in a thread about which point guards would make OKC better if they replaced Westbrook:

It's fun watching this team in close games late because they execute so well they usually end up winning. That right there is how you close out a game and Chris Paul just continues to be a great leader in those situations and makes winning plays over and over. I dread it when Ferguson comes in the game now because he actively makes the team worse now much like Roberson did. 20 minutes...2 points and another negative impact game. What this team sees in defensive wing players who suck on offense I will never understand but Presti sure seems like love acquiring a bunch of them. You put Jeremy Grant back on this team (like he should be) and they're very close to being a championship contender. I still don't get why they got rid of him especially considering the wing players we now have.

My eyes glaze over when reading alternative stat (not advanced stat) narratives that go many paragraphs long. If you can not make your point in 2 paragraphs it may not be a great point.
