Whiteside did so much damage on the defensive side. He affected a lot of shots, and made it hard for anyone in the paint. We need someone like that.

Not that Whiteside is great but we've been rolling out defensive zeros with all our centers (no more Mahinmi).

The odd thing is we had 18 offensive rebounds (7 by Wagner) vs 7 for them - but we still couldn't score inside, and our offense collapsed in the 3rd quarter. Still, the biggest problem was defense. Bertans was awkward on d, but at least he gave everything he had. Yeah, he had some frustrating moments, but other players have to show that kind of effort on D.

Absolutely! As I just wrote in prediction thread, it is extremely important right now for Jerome Robinson, Pasecniks & GP to get the most possible minutes the rest of the way.

Mo Wagner too -- play him until he fouls out; that way we might get 20 minutes a night out of him....
