No but one of the few times he hasn’t been. But what I do like his free throws look way better back to his normal 70’s which will be huge come playoffs.

Harden can have all the advanced stats that he want but game like tonight is one of the reason why he will never have the respect that he want.Easier to score 40 or points against a lottery team playing no defense and no one care than doing that in a big game like tonight

Yeah, rely on the analytics too much is not a good thing….The analytics can be useful, but sometimes you have to use your head too when it's time!

I mean, when in a team, you miss 27 three points in a row in your most important game of your life (game 7 WCF) you have to do others things than that!

Um, Harden averaged 37/5/10 on (roughly) 50/50/80 splits in his first three games against LAC this season. PG missed one, but otherwise the Clips had pretty much their whole team for all three of those games.

Anyone, is there a block feature on RealGM? Can anyone help me out with this?

The Best argument for Lebron is that he was able to convince/brainwash AD in to forcing his way out, which was a very valuable maneuver for the Lakers.

It's behind a paywall but the Bucks beat writer in Milwaukee took a straw poll of over a third of the 100 likely voters for MVP and it wasn't even close. Out of 35 media members outside of Milwaukee here's how the votes broke down...

Giannis - 33 1st place votes, 1 split vote, 1 2nd place vote
Lebron - 1 1st place vote, 1 split vote, 30 2nd place votes

https://www.jsonline.com/story/sports/nba/bucks/2020/03/06/giannis-lebron-theres-clear-favorite-nba-mvp-award/4956851002/

Maybe tonight Giannis will sway the two dopes who kept it from being unanimous.

Harden got the most 3rd place votes with 15.

Did his vote gathering start pre or post that Pelicans game and Lebron's interview?
Because before that game Giannis was the unanimous MVP and nobody was talking about it and after that game Lebron was probably the favourite to win it for ESPN and Fox 24/7.

as of the morning of March 6th

The spreadsheet now includes 63 players.

Since last week:

TOP 5 RISERS
1. Giannis Antetokounmpo +1.47 [team record 3-1]
2. Kawhi Leonard +1.32 [4-0]
3. Jonas Valanciunas +1.32 [3-1]
4. Paul George +1.14 [4-0]
5. Kristaps Porzingis +1.06 [2-2]

FALLERS
1. Paul Millsap -0.67 [team record 2-2]
2. Devin Booker -0.53 [0-3]
3. Jarrett Allen -0.45 [1-3]
4. Russell Westbrook -0.34 [1-2]
5. Dennis Schroeder -0.30 [1-2]

Antetokounmpo makes the Risers for the second week in a row, while Harden falls out of the Risers for the first time in a month. Valanciunas goes from the Fallers last week to the Risers this week.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

TOP TEN

1. 19.6 Antetokounmpo, MIL [since last time: even] [+1.47]
2. 17.2 Harden, HOU [even] [+0.04]
3. 16.2 James, LAL [even] [+0.87]
4. 14.6 Gobert, UTA [even] [+0.57]
5. 14.5 Leonard, LAC [+2] [+1.32]

6. 14.3 Jokic DEN [-1] [+0.53]
7. 13.8 Lillard, POR [-1] [+0.19]
8. 13.5 Davis, LAL [+1] [+0.98]
9. 13.0 Middleton, MIL [-1] [+0.45]
10. 12.7 Tatum, BOS [even] [+0.27]

Antetokounmpo's lead is now larger than ever after another great week and Harden falling off the tear he'd been on. Not a lot of movement elsewhere, outside of Kawhi climbing into the top five for what I believe is the first time. Doncic is still in eleventh with a score of 12.4.

Westbrook had a near 30p triple double and a +37 against Memphis, probably one of the best games of his career in Boston and 24 and 29 points in the last two Rockets losses and he is top 5 faller.

Harden had 30 points and +7 against Memphis, probably his worst game this season in Boston, 35 in the Knicks loss and 16 in the Clippers loss and he was still positive.

That's just cruel for Westbrook.

Giannis needs to come out and destroy the Lakers tonight, because if the opposite happens and LeBron goes all out (which he will) and takes the game and plays better than Giannis, we all know damn well what narrative the media will run after

Harden's previous 3 games vs Clippers:
47 pts, 7/13 from 3s
37 pts, 5/11 from 3s
28 pts, 5/11 from 3s

"Harden can have all the stats but game like this blah blah blah" we've heard this every time he has a bad game. Everyone has bad games here and there, so unless you think those 3 games don't matter, and only the 4th game of a regular season series matters because it's closest to the post season?

When it comes to a player we don't like, here are often the things we like to say:
- dude don't just watch the games, advanced stats speak for the fact (when his advanced stats suck)
- hahaha talk about stats all you want those are all empty stats look at this game! (when his advanced stats don't suck)

I don't really give a **** about him getting respect or not. He can be hated like a murderer as long as he gets a ring I am cool. We are just talking about facts here man. "Easier to score 40 points against a lottery team playing no defense".... where did you draw that conclusion? Those 3 Clippers games I listed, Kawhi played all 3, Beverly played all 3, George played 2, Houston won 2-1, those are certainly not "against a lottery team playing no defense" right?

Last week I was saying Harden's lead over James was bigger than Antetokounmpo's lead over Harden. That's not even close to true anymore after Antetokounmpo had a great week and Harden fell off the torrid pace he'd been on recently (not that anyone noticed). Antetokounmpo's lead is pretty massive, especially considering how much time is left in the season. I still have Harden as the clear #2 for now, though. My rankings right above put all of this into number form.

It was a overreaction of my part….This is just that no way Harden will be second ahead of LeBron since the Lakers have a much better record that the Rockets.LeBron has been more consistant too.

there are still 20 games left, and I can see the media LeBron narrative building more and more everyday, if he LeBron has a better game tonight than Giannis and gets the dub, they're gonna run with it

Giannis needs to come out and completely obliterate Bron and the Lakers and put this 'race' to rest

LeBron will need to change the mind of at lot of voter who is very hard to do with only 20 games left in the season.
