I have had problems with Kenny Atkinson, but this is dumb. Who's replacing him?

Wow... I'm in shock. Something big had to have happened being the scenes for this to happen so suddenly.

Wow. Disappointing but not surprising. I've been posting about this for the last few weeks. This was the year where Kenny was supposed to earn the trust of our stars and vets. He failed there. Not totally his fault but for the first time, you could see that the team didn't fully buy in. This is a huge loss for our team.

The question is - who's the target in the off-season? I don't think anyone is available that we would want.

Would they keep Vaughn if the team does well the rest of the way?

Damn. That's was Kenny's last presser after a beat down on Pop's Spurs. I woke up to texts and I thought it was April fool's with this nonsense on my phone that he got fired. Damn. Nets gonna Nets.

Don't think so unless the team really falls in love with him.

I’m very surprised they did this at this moment. They went through a pretty bad losing streak recently and the didn’t drop him then. They just played one of their best games yet and now they dump him. Something is up.

I agree with getting rid of Kenny. I know he did great at developing players. But I feel like his offensive sets hurt the team. He is better as an assistant coach than a head coach. Or he needs a great Xs and Os guy behind him. Part of it is execution for the players but there doesn’t seem to be a lot of plays they run. The nets have to rely on individual players always to win a game for them. Caris has to have a big night. Or spender. Or Kyrie. Can’t keep doing that. We need ball movement and player movement.

I thank Kenny for helping these young players learn the game and pushing them. But he’s a developing players coach and not a superstar coach. And next year we need someone to coach superstars.
