They didn't trade away a ton of picks this time they just signed them in free agency, it's an improvement

Yeah I don’t subscribe to the KD is a bitch/whatever other insult someone may have about him theory. Again, when you’re a coach and are gifted two All NBA players, it’s your job to get their buy in, however that happens, even if they’re mercurial like Kyrie. Shifting that onus onto the players who are more valuable to team success is shifting blame away from the coach. That’s HIS job.

I always liked Atkinson a great deal and I like the idea of someone like him growing with our young nucleus. I remember when he was an assistant here under D'antoni; a lot of the players were fond of him and he helped during the offseasons working out with them in smaller/1 on 1 groups.

I haven't seen many Net games aside from when we play against them but I did see a few games last year and was impressed with them overachieving in the manner they did. From what i remember, they were more cohesive of a unit than this year's team and didn't iso as much (Lavert had a great start to the year before that unfortunate injury.)

I was liking Miller until the past 4 or 5 games. I'm baffled to some of his substitution patterns and why exactly he keeps the starter vets in late in games when we're getting blown out. That just helps them stat pad and make it seem like they weren't the reason we we were getting blown out (i.e. by 20 last night at the start of the 4th quarter.)

I'm almost positive Atkinson would fall in love with Ntilikina, Robinson and probably unlock RJ into more of a point forward role.

On one hand I don't like this ridiculous turnover rate of our coaches since Woodson was fired, but on the other hand I think Kenny could grow with this team and be here long term.
