If their offer was Cam and Tyler for AG, I'm really glad we turned them down. Especially considering they waived Tyler. I may be in the minority, but I would still prefer keep AG unless we get a really good offer. I get the fit with JI, but I would prefer keep two really gifted players together than sell one lower than we should. Now if the Suns are willing to trade Oubre, I could understand a deal, but I still like AG's overall game more even though Oubre's shooting would help.

Yeah. Tyler Johnson was just straight crap this year and he is going to struggle to find a place in the NBA at this point. Cameron Johnson has a beautiful 3-point shot, but nothing else. It sounds like the Suns were trying to capitalize on the possibility that Orlando might want to dump Gordon.

If they aren't willing to give up legitimate value, then we are better off holding onto Gordon. I suspect things might change in the summer though. James Jones isn't afraid of pulling the trigger and given how the Suns have faded, perhaps Jones will be more willing to shake things up after the season ends. Phoenix really isn't that far away from putting a nice product out there.

I’m interested in moving AG for Oubre/Bridges and Saric. No interest in the Cam Johnson deal.

Bridges or Oubre both fit well next to JI as the starting 3. Oubre is better but if we could get Saric alongside Bridges that gives us more shooting depth and lineup options.

No way I do that. Johnson was considered a reach at 13 last year and we're getting a more talented player who fills his role in Chuma and will have Aminu coming back. Bridges has shown some growth, but he isn't more valuable than AG. On a team that needs more A-list talent, let's not trade our more talented players for less talented ones.

Then would you all be willing to include Oubre? I could be wrong, but I don't see a deal happening unless we get Bridges or Oubre. I don't think the front office is looking to trade Gordon as much as seeing him as their best trade asset. If the talks with GSW were true, then it looks like we were trying to trade for DLo with Gordon as the biggest piece. I can't see us going from chasing DLo to accept Cam Johnson as the best player in a deal.

It is hard to project trades for Fournier until we know whether he opts out or in.

With the Magicv not trading Gordon, it is looking like a sellers market is emerging. If Orlando gets a dollar on the dollar trade, then not reading him at the ASW deadline looks like a genius move.

Anyhow: I think we have about 20 games left in the Gordon era.

If we’re going to trade AG, I’d assume it be for a difference maker in the backcourt. I’m tired of Fournier and am very cool if he opts out and we let him walk. AG could net us such a player. I think the Gordon era is coming to a close as well, I just hope we don’t trade him and potentially a first round pick for fools gold. A lot of trade ideas around here have been just that.

i want to see more of the lineup without evan and see if its something that can really win in this league, and if so, keep AG

What if its what everyone has been saying, buddy ball is what has been killing this team. If we can go on a run without evan, and during that run Markelle plays the way he did last night) id be perfectly fine with letting evan leave, using our 1st on a SG (or any cap space, can we use the MLE this year?) and bringing the same team back next year

If fultz becomes as aggressive trying to score as he was yesterday, this lineup would be awesome for next year

Oubre is shooting 35% from 3 just like AG did last year. AG is only shooting like 30% this year. The last three years he shot 32% and 31% while AG has shot 35 and 33%

I wouldn’t be too sure Oubre is absolutely better than AG from 3. Oubre is a 33 % for his career and AG is 32%. He is skinny AG with less passing ability.
