Book is having a game of his life might top 70 points but if he was struggling the outcome could differ. Either way leave this thread open for a month.

If he wants out then I would trade him before demands go public.
Also depends what we get back.

I understand that we are supposing in this poll that he doesn't want out.

Obviously I wouldn't trade him. He is younger than Cam Johnson and Diallo.

Dude I love Booker it's not like I enjoy wanting him traded but him and Ayton wont gel together and I cant see him leading us past first round of playoffs. I didnt make this decision after his first or second NBA season but Booker is in his 5th season now and doesn't make players around him better, Rubio does though. I'm sure prior to this season 90% wanted Booker as a Sun for life but with around 20 games remaining in his 5th year, that number dwindled down to 60% possibly lower. Booker is like Carmelo, Tmac & McGrady on steroids, he's an amazing finisher, scorer and shooter but everything else needs work. Defense, Turnovers, ISO's & clutch game winners.

I get that as suns fans we have suffered a lot.

But its a weird world we live in when we have to point fingers at our best player and not our worst.

Man I'll just lay low and hope Booker improves with time. After missing playoffs all these years it takes a toll on a fan.

Its been described in extensive detail how Booker is hurting the team at times. If he shows progress and proves to be coachable theres no reason to trade him. Numbers dont tell the whole story, Carmelo also had elite numbers for most of his career.

As for "pointing fingers", thats just a dumb and negative habit. Noone loses on purpose. But sometimes its just a bad fit.

He is our best offensive player and it isn't even close.

He is also our worst defensive player and it isn't close.

But he is also 23 so I think it's better to give him time to improve his defense, although if he doesn't do that then I'll be open to trading him, or if there is a can't refuse offer available or he requests a trade.

Also, the question in the opening post is completely open to anyone's interpretation and so it falls far short of being a good poll. Just want to point that out. For example, based on my post, one could interpret my answer as either 'yes' or 'no'.

I voted 'no' based on my interpretation of the question as "do you want to trade Devin Booker?", which I felt was appropriate given the sort of nature of people here being very fickle.

No, it shouldn't. You're not going to have anything close to accurate. And in the worst case scenario you'd get 100% of the people answering 'yes' because every player in the NBA can be had for the right trade package.

I really don't want to come across as rude but the way you have your poll set up, it's really meaningless and you're not getting any useful information from it, although I think a lot of the posts in here are good.

No, but the question is a bit open ended. People keep saying the writing is one the wall...he is going to ask out...he is checked out, etc. I don't see any of that at all...to me it seems like he wants to be here, loves the city, wants to be here long term, etc.

Of course if he did want out and there was a great offer the answer might be different. But I don't see that happening, and if it does, it won't be any time soon.

I voted NO (my interpretation is: "while he doesn't request it").

And I don't give a sh*t about his age.
Was he 30 years old, I'd vote "no" the same as long as I keep seeing him doing his best to improve.

Tormund didn't shoot a damned 3p during his entire career 'til the year before, to put things in perspective.
