Ya I think you make a point. Now that I look at it, early on it was clear that Hayes and Zion were and awkward fit and my guess is nothing about that has changed during practice. So Zion is playing about 30 minutes a game, which leaves about 18 minutes per game when he's not on the court. Meli really only should be getting minutes with Zion, and Favors probably gets 7-9 minutes of playing without Zion. So that kind of leaves just about 9 minutes a game or so for Hayes and that is actually what Hayes is averaging since Zion has returned.

If he wants more time, he needs to be able to play alongside Zion. And again from the small time we saw them together early on and with the Pels fighting for the playoffs, kind of hard to blame Gentry for not going back to that lineup again.

To think how strongly Coby White was linked to us when Garland was known to be going to high for us to get :(

Then to make matters worse when we traded down and got Saric (who is a bum) we pick Cam Johnson (who has been going well of late) instead of the whole board pretty much wanting Clarke.

Generally the fans and mocks aren’t accurate but **** if we got Clarke or Coby instead of Cam + Saric we’d be so much better for the future.

This just isn't true. No matter who wins ROY, Zion is BAY FAR the biggest story for rookies. Thats why not just the media, the fans talk about Zion 10 times more than Ja

Zion's injury and missing so many games was a big story; but its not as big as Ja coming from a small school and blowing the so called Great West up. You are entitled to your opinion and I also hate it when any player gets injured. But basketball players who were/are playing games is what intrigues me the most.

I will pay more attention to Zion once he can play a full season. That may sound callous but that is the truth.

You should probably say your favorite rookie story than. Zion is the MUCH bigger story and its not really debatable. How can Ja be a bigger story when Zion gets talked about 10 times more (its honestly probably more than that) by fans, players and media? Zion is the one getting almost all the attention and crazy ratings. That makes him the bigger story. You may not like it, but Zion is in fact a much bigger story than Ja and its not even a little bit close. Maybe you think Ja has a better story

When you start talking numbers you should start posting stats. 10 times more is fanboy talk with nothing to back it up but talk. Ja is the man this season and the only thing left up for debate is who else besides him and Zion make the all rookie team.

ESPN pushing Zion is nothing more than that. There is no saving their ratings with all the horrible games they scheduled highlighting the pitiful Warriors and borderline playoff team Pelicans.

Its over, Bookem Dano

I am calling it now and its not crazy hype. Reddish is the real deal. He will be at a minimum a 18 PPG scorer and lock down defender inside his 3rd season. Tonight's line:

28 PTS, 1 REB, 2 AST, 1 BLK, 1 STL in just 28 minutes as the 6th man off the bench.
64.7 FG%, 71.4 3PT%, 100% FT% ( 1 for 1 )

I am not sure about the Hawks GM picking anyone other than Hunter or Reddish at 4, that is how much he likes them both. But I am pretty certain if a redraft was done getting both of them with 4 and 10 would be a lot less likely.

Hunter averaged 13.8, 6.8, and shot a astounding .463 from three in February. Reddish over the past 3 weeks looks like the most polished/balanced SG in the whole draft.

do you think the players know when they are indeed in the 1 percentile of defenders? like its gotta be a gut shot when you are in the 500 ranks and are actually trying, just not having the tools to be adequate at all

This just hurts yet again for the Suns is just another awful draft the list just keeps getting bigger and bigger with mistakes.

Way too early to tell. Top 3 is pretty much set but anywhere from number 4 nobody knows.
Herro/Hunter/Hachimura/Davis can all be stars they are in the similar tier.
But yeah going for Cam was ridiculous considering he has no potential other than being a pure shooter.
I get their idea of trying to go all in on offense shooting 3s but come on they play 0 D.
Lamelo will be a future superstar Bull. Book it. Lavar for president!

Just want to throw a shout out to my boy Tacko dominating the G-League. Yesterday, he almost put up a triple double with blocks... going 16/14/9 in only 25min!
