Reddish strikes again:
22 PTS, 7 REB, 2 AST, 1 STL
57.1 FG%, 37.5 3PT%, and he hit two critical free throws in the final OT

Hunter had a nice little game also:
13 PTS, 11 REB, 2 AST
60.0 FG%, 75.0 3 PT%, and he hit three critical free throws in the final OT.
Both of these rookies came up big tonight.

To think how strongly Coby White was linked to us when Garland was known to be going to high for us to get :(

Then to make matters worse when we traded down and got Saric (who is a bum) we pick Cam Johnson (who has been going well of late) instead of the whole board pretty much wanting Clarke.

Generally the fans and mocks aren’t accurate but **** if we got Clarke or Coby instead of Cam + Saric we’d be so much better for the future.

Way too early to tell. Top 3 is pretty much set but anywhere from number 4 nobody knows.
Herro/Hunter/Hachimura/Davis can all be stars they are in the similar tier.
But yeah going for Cam was ridiculous considering he has no potential other than being a pure shooter.
I get their idea of trying to go all in on offense shooting 3s but come on they play 0 D.

Reddish is balling man. He just put up 22 and 7, and did that making only 3 threes and those 7 rebounds are nothing to yawn about either. Reddish went 2 of 2 and Hunter went 3 for 3 from the free throw line in the final 13 seconds of the last overtime. Clutch tonight is all I have to say.

really small sample size (8 games, 10 minutes per game)...but Keldon is shooting 54/40/70 over that span, hopefully he gets some real playing time down the stretch to see what he can do

Reddish should be drafted at 3 if we do a re-draft today. He has already shown that he could play defense and his offense keeps improving every month. He reminds me of Paul George.

That kid is really fun to watch. High-level defender from the start. Now that he's healthy and confident, his offense is really coming along nicely.

Reddish is starting to look like the prospect Duke fans were stoked about.

Past 30 days, 11 games played, 28.4 Minutes.
16.4 PTS, 3.4 REB, 1.5 AST, 1.2 STL. 0.5 BLK
.500 FG%, .833 FT%, .421 3PT%

The Hawks defense is woeful; but if Reddish keeps this up, Reddish, Hunter, Capela, Collins, Trae may make Suns fans grow a little reminiscent of Stoudamire, Marion, JJ, and Nash.

Zion’s defense is such a liability. It’s one thing when you’re a guard and you have two more lines of defense behind you. You can build around a bad defensive guard. You can’t build around a bad defensive big. He’s your last line of defense, your saving grace. Zion would get played off the floor in the playoffs. I wouldn’t take him top 5 for that reason alone.

Hawks GM/VP Travis Schlenk keeps dancing to a different beat in his head and he takes the heat for it every draft. By the end of every season though, a few GMs are left looking a little foolish.

Steals I see from his past picks:
Collins 19th 2017
Huerter 19th 2018
Reddish 10th 2019

If they don’t start winning more it will be more reminiscent of the current state of the Suns. Lot of young talent but no direction, not good enough vets, questionable fit, and a point guard who couldn’t stop a high school guard from penetrating

Does this qualify as winning 'more'?
First half of season 41 games: 9-32
Since :11-14 (5-5 Post ASB)
And still without Clint Capela.

Not at all. That includes a 40 and 20 point loss to the Grizzlies without 3 of their 5 best players.

Doesn't change the win/loss record.

When the Lakers got blown out by the Celtics 139 - 107, for some posters they thought or hoped the sky was falling on the Lakers as well. Bad losses happen even more often for young teams. But don't tell that to people who love to post knee jerk reactions about teams they don't care for.

It doesn't do any good. They will post them anyway.

Does it piss you off that the Grizz would trade Ja for Zion in a heart beat (as would every single GM in the NBA)? Not top 5? Get the **** out of here. The kid is playing at like 70%. He was top 3 in defensive player of the year voting for a reason. He is missing his motor that made him so good on defense in college, but that will come back in time when he gs back to top shape

Plus the stats show that his offense more than makes up for his defense. He tilts the floor far more than any rookie
