What possible reasoning could there be for suspending him? The pitch slipped, you can see that when you see the replay. He was wiping the sweat off of his hands, Posada was looking for it on the other side of the plate, and he even looked as if he was over throwing slightly. That would be complete nonsense to suspend him. -Jitpal

What do you freaking expect? Pedro hits some of our guys and sends them to the hospital years ago and no suspensions are given out. But when the Yankees do it..and we didn't even bean Youkilis... we get two games. The Proctor incident versus Seattle is another example... what a joke MLB is.

Wow I didn't realize MLB had mind readers working for them. They must have known Joba was intentionally throwing at him.

On 2nd thought Joba wasnt gonna pitch those 2 games regardless cause he nearly went 2 innings the last time out.

The suspension is bs,but not as bad as it seems

A rookie gets suspended right away yet someone like Josh Towers who for sure aimed at A-Rod and nearly had a bench clearing brawl gets off scotch free?

Keep up the good work MLB. Keep it up.

Yeah he will not be appealing. Makes sense, because of MLB decides on the appeal during the Boston series or the Mariners series it can cost us a game, so just serve it now against TB.

It's a bull suspension no doubt, but since it's against TB I'm not upset about it. I stand by my belief it wan't on purpose, Posada was lined up inside and looking back it really looked like the ball slipped out of his hand.
