Wow...vyse. I completely forgot about him.

Clemens would be the 3rd/4th starter on the Red Sox, just as he is on the Yankees. Can we please stop trying to compare him to Daisuke and Beckett? It's just foolish. And you can't even try to turn your argument into saying you'd prefer Clemens in the "big game" because his postseason numbers are rather underwhelming.

Well considering I hated him, no. :lol:

Some people liked him but he said some incredibly stupid stuff and argued with every point somebody made. Even if they were agreeing with him, he seemed to argue just for the sake of arguing.

Vyse was awesome. He abhorred stupid people and stupid comments and would belittle them at every opportunity he got. (He was also big on Sabermetrics, which made him even more virulent.) His famous dismissal of stupidity was "You smoke rocks?" Classic.

Blast from the past. I still use that in my everyday vernacular.

Basically cmaff, it means you are an annoying jackass but brings some substance to the table rather than being a stupid annoying jackass. While I hated you at first (and you still annoy the piss out of me), I think BBJ's comparison is apt and take it as a compliment. mahalo

If a poster made a claim not backed up by stats, he'd unleash a venomous tirade against them. He was almost always right, but a little too confrontational for RealGM I guess.
