Contained in the world? U.S.? NBA? It's certainly not going to stop spreading. The mortality rate is just probably a lot lower than people think, especially for those under 60 years old (mostly under 70) unless you have an underlying condition. If someone under 50 catches it, their chances of mortality are like 1 in 400-500.
Of course any virus can adapt and change to become more deadly. But this won't be contained really. Especially in the U.S. The only thing that might stop it or slow it down is when it gets really hot, but I still read it stays alive for days if a cough particle gets on a surface and it's in the 90s.
Some doctor came out and said they expect half the population to get it.
