LMAO I knew there was something wrong with the footage of him that I kept looking at. It confused me because I saw so much video of him as a child and grown man and I kept asking myself is this the same person...? I never thought to look at his age because he wasn't someone I am heavily recruiting. I guess since I have found out he is 34 I will take a pass on him lmao. I am not an expert but I do not think it would be a wise decision to take a 34 year old with the first pick in the 2020 NBA draft unless it is Lebron James haha

ATTENTION HORNETS FANS

Due to UNCNYC total incompetence in drafting a 34 year old player with our first pick he has been fired as GM of the team. Diop is now interum GM and we are looking into the possibility that UNCNYC never gets another shot at GM again.

Yeah they are both good. I thought they were the same guy due to name (even tho I thought they looked different). I just thought that he had one bad year stress wise and aged terribly lol

If the rest of the regular season is canceled then it looks like we are most likely picking 8th. These players should still declare. These are in no particular order:

Anthony Edwards - Georgia sucks so why would he go back?
LaMelo - Already training for the NBA.
James Wiseman - See Above.
Deni Avdija - Playing overseas
Tyrese Haliburton - His teams stinks.
Tyrese Maxey - Scumbag Cal may talk him into returning to UK. He’s too similar to Monk anyway.
Killian Hayes - Playing overseas
RJ Hampton - See Above.
Cole Anthony - Has a HUGE Ego and no way Roy can talk him into returning to college. He should be a better pro with health and spacing and he was on one of unc’s worst teams ever so he’ll be easier for non-unc fans to welcome and the unc fans will have to look at him and think what if? That’s a plus.
The wildcard is Obi Toppin. I believe in my heart of hearts that Dayton would have at least made the Final Four and I could see him return to college.

We should be able to get a very good player even picking 8th.

We can move PJ to C more and use Obi at PF but JB likes to use Miles at PF so we are back to where does Obi fit in? There is something special about Toppin so it would be an absolute mistake if we have a chance to draft him but ended up passing on him. I say draft for talent and figure out the rest later.

This draft is so deep that many of these names are predicted late or non drafted and imo are really good prospects

Nothing has changed with my top 2 picks as to who I would draft if fell to us. I have become a fan of Tyrell Terry tho and hope he is there for our 3rd pick. Nothing flashy about Terry's game but he could be a good combo guard off the bench.

As an outsider with no lottery pick, it is so obvious to me that Toppin is the best player in this draft (FWIW I also had PJ Washington really high on my big board and LOVED the pick when Charlotte made it & everyone thought they reached). He's going to be a monster.

I am pretty sure the best player in this draft has been agreed to be Onyeka Okongwu. Many believe him to have a high floor with elite potential.

Just out of curiosity, can you show any mocks that have him as the top pick? I haven't seen any.
