The silver lining is if 100,000 have it already in Ohio maybe the death rate is wrong and maybe the mortality rate is way less than the 3.4 or 1%.

ZZZ leave it to certain people to make a biological crisis somehow politics. Disgusting you guys.

BasketballRob is not wrong from all the stuff I have read. The US Military is preparing for dealing with 2-4 million deaths.

CNN is reporting 41 deaths and nearly 1,600 confirmed cases across the US at this time.

That is a death rate of 2.56%

This comes knowing we are vastly under prepared in testing and the true number of infections could be and likely is much higher. Given the symptoms are so similar to things like pneumonia, the number of deaths is likely under reported as well.

So we should hold off on assuming optimal numbers.

Honestly, how do we know it hasn't been here in the US for months already? With no test back in December, how can anyone say that people with flu-like-symptoms back then didn't have COVID-19?

You can't. That is why the pearl clutching over "Where are the tests" is disingenuous at best because of the incubation period of this thing. BTW, CDC says it can incubate up to 38 days now. Not to mention that there are tons of examples of carriers that never have symptoms or get sick, but can still spread it. They are only testing people with fevers etc.

My girlfriends child was in the ER in December and they said she had a viral infection but it wasn't the flu. She coughed for weeks. The girlfriend had it too before her and acted like she was near death. That was right at Christmas.

Supposedly the first case in China was New years eve

The ESPN reporter had a underlying disease but he died around Christmas at 35. They diagnosed him with some rare type of pneumonia. He bragged early on that he had a good immune system. His last social media post, just said, my lungs.

I had a terrible non-flu virus in December. That's why I brought it up.

Maybe it's been here since December. I remember some Chinese women trying to get in Mara Lago on December 19th, she could've been trying to infect Trump.

So apparently the Coronavirus symptoms are fever and cough. When I get a cold or FLU I get more symptoms and I know to take dayquil full strength and Advil.

A cold/FLU starts with 1. A sore throat, than it goes to cough, fever, chills, than it goes to sneezing, running nose and finally mucus.

Whether you are healthy or sick, You should get all your vitamins and minerals every single day. When your sick, You have to overdose on Vitamin C and you need to keep your 5 electrolytes replenished (Sodium, Chloride, Potassium, Magnesium, Calcium)

Gatorade and Powerade are junk if you read the nutrition facts, They only have sugar and sodium and its too much sugar/sodium for a drink.

Bodyarmor is one of the best sports drink out there. Glaceau Vitamin water( the flavored water drinks) are also good with Vitamin B,C and the electrolytes. Bolthouse chocolate protein drink is really good with all the vitamins, minerals and electrolyte sources if your stomach can handle a milk based beverage but I think only Walmart carries that brand.

I've been taking a lot of Vitamin C these past several days so if I reach a day that I don't feel good, My body will be ready to fight.

I can't believe that sporting events are being cancelled or postponed due to the coronavirus but we don't cancel events because of the cold or the FLU.

I take vitamin d and k2, also zinc. If you read about Vitamin D it's good to prevent respiratory viruses. Zinc also helps your immune system. South Korea is using a zinc mixture to treat it and they're getting the mortality rate lower than everyone else

When I think of Vitamin D, That's the one for health, strong bones and absorb calcium along with being out in the SUN.

Than I read this article https://www.healthline.com/health/food-nutrition/benefits-vitamin-d

It fights Disease, It reduces depression and boosts weight loss.

So yea the Vitamin C and Vitamin D are the top 2 for preventing/ fighting a disease, infection, virus.

I take k2 with it because it prevents calcification. I would definitely take zinc too.

Disney and Universal officially shut down thru the end of March, the earliest.

That's going to decimate the Orlando working class, majority who work in tourism related jobs....crazy how quickly things have escalated.
