So far twice as many people voted for Wood over Drummond, and Pistons fans have been especially adamant. I'm surprised you believe the gap is so big that you thought this might be a troll thread. What are you basing your opinion on?

Apparently his attitude is why he struggled sticking to a roster before DET. Not sure I can agree with you about not being a winning player though... Here are Net Rtgs for all Pistons who have played 500+ min this year:

Langston Galloway: -4.7 (1702 min)
Andre Drummond: -4.4 (1654 min)
Tony Snell: -6.4 (1641 min)
Bruce Brown: -3.8 (1634 min)
Christian Wood: +2.2 (1325 min)
Derrick Rose: -3.6 (1298 min)
Svi Mykhailiuk: -1.1 (1265 min)
Markieff Morris: -5.3 (988 min)
Luke Kennard: -2.8 (922 min)
Thon Maker: -9.3 (776 min)
Sekou Dombouya: -10.9 (754 min)
Blake Griffin: -2.3 (512 min)

Not to mention, he started seeing more minutes after the starters were decimated by injuries. In theory his +/- would look even better if he played with Kennard, Griffin, etc.

Are these stats available on nba.com? Kinda want to see where other teams and their players are at

I got them from the Play by Play section of basketball reference ("on-court"), but NBA.com has them too. IIRC NBA.com's version ("net rating") is even more exact whereas basketball reference uses approximations in their formula.

C Wood is a much more skilled player offensively. I agree with what some others have said, he leaves something to be desired on the defensive end but he has improved a bit latley.

Not really saying much.

Drummond was always just empty stats with poor defense.

I just don't think we've seen enough from wood yet to come to that conclusion.

I've seen enough of Drummond and I would take anyone over him. He should have been Josh Smith'd a long time ago.

I remember watching a sports science episode early in Drummond's career. It showed how ridiculous his reaction times were, and intimated that at least, on paper, this guy should be a very talented defensive presence.

I still believe those tests, but if you can't recognize what the opposing offense is doing, or don't care what the opposing offense is doing, it really doesn't matter how fast you can react and recover.

Similarly, his offense never developed. Part of that is the guards he played with. Him and Ish Smith had great PNR chemistry, but that never lasted. Part of it is also Drummond. He never really got any better on that end, but also never stopped pouting when he didn't get ball so he could miss his ugly baby hook. He looked ok working as a handoff hub from the top of the key, but that's about the extent of his improvement.

At this point, I'll take Wood. More versatile. Seemingly, less diva.

Imma help drive the Christian Wood bandwagon.

Wood offers a lot more for today's game. Yes, Drummond puts up great stats...albeit extremely empty. The way Wood is able to help stretch the floor with his shooting, defend, and overall hustle and heart (maybe due to the fact his is playing for a contract?), I would certainly want him on my squad for a few seasons.

I really feel Wood's game really lends itself to the modern game. Andre Drummond playing in the 90's is a Hall of Famer.

Just heard from a virologist Dr Joseph Fair saying if it develops into the disease Covid-19 it will permanently damage your lungs.

This happens in about 20% of the cases.

c.wood has higher BBIQ than drummond and is mentally tougher (didnt let embiid punk him out) drummond is a freakish athlete and with a team that has a TRUE point guard and reliable shooters at the 2,3,4 positions he can be special.
