SG-Michael Cooper- defense, 3 pt shooting and fastbreak
PG/ Spot up shooter super clutch Derek Fisher- 40% career playoff 3 pt shooter
Center/PF, Mychal Thompson, great basics; dependable 15 footer, flexible defender
Runner up will be Fox, Horace Grant and Byron Scott.

T-Air Brown, Slava Medvedenko, Samaki Walker. Bron would force a trade in about one minute ...

Cooper, Fox, Horry, Ariza, Fisher, Mbemga
Since the 1976 merger LAL 11, CHI 6, BOS 6, SAS 5, GSW 4

PG: Luka / Vincent / Bronny
SG: Smart / Reaves / Knecht / Mañon
SF: LaRavia / Rui / Thiero
PF: Bron / Vando / Kleber
C: Ayton / Hayes / Koloko

Perkins would be awesome in today’s offense but I have concerns about his ability ti switch in the perimeter. Threat is nice too.

Lamar Odom
Michael Cooper
Derek Fisher

I don't think three guys fit them and their needs better. Odom can handle the ball for when Bron needs a rest, rebound for AD, he can switch on D like a Bosh which makes them great defensively, and in modern times he could probably play the center spot against everyone but Embid and Joker. Cooper is a swiss army knife who can pass, shoot, defend, rebound, and does not need the ball so he would be in constant motion and filling lanes for them. And Fisher is the definition of clutch as he hits big shots, can defend 2s, in this day and age probably gets up 15 a night on a title team since he was a third option on the Kobe/Shaq teams and didn't really chuck, and he can rally the troops with his voice.'

My honorable mention is Rick Fox because really he is a perfect stretch 4 now, could shadow the hell out of shooters just ask Peja, and he didn't mind getting dirty and sticking up for people as the bad guy.

I went with Fisher over Fox because I don't know if I can live with any of them including Bron taking late game 3s or free throws over Fisher esp in the playoffs and on the road. But boy that team could switch a while lot with Bron, Coop, Fox, Odom, and AD

I'll go with the players who gave us the last 5 championship. Just basically replace Kobe and Shaq/Pau with Bron and AD.

Odom would be awesome and perfect if the games happened in 2008. But the past 5 years or so, players who can shoot the 3 are better suited and I'm not sure there will be adequate floor spacing when both Odom and AD are on the floor. And yes, I selected Mychal Thompson for AD's frontline mate and he's not a 3pt shooter but IMO, he is better from within 18 feet. He is not a great ball handler like Lamar but he is stronger too. I feel like Fisher can handle the ball too.

Lonzo Ball (3 & D, defense and +38% 3 pt shooter on 7 attempts)
Lou Williams (clutch scorer, elite free throw shooter, shot creator ala Kyrie lite)
Lamar Odom (versatile defender, scorer, rebounder, playmaker, all-around forward who would thrive in this era imo w/ improved shooting)

Lonzo Ball
Lou Williams

Lebron James
Lamar Odom
Anthony Davis

Odom shoots better than Javale, Kuzma, or Dwight do. I think they could easily hit it off especially when you remember how he played off a playmaking big like Cousins before.

Just want to say how odd it is to say “if the games happened in 2008” considering Lamar was the PF on title winning teams in 09 and 10.

You are right, what were the major changes that happened 2006 to 2011 regarding rules and systems used as compared to 2013 onwards?
