What's the problem? Just throw more money at the situation. Sign Puig and Joe Schmoe and I have no doubt they will put up All Star numbers.

Not sure if you've been under a rock, but the corona virus has suspended baseball till who knows when.

Go easy on Wingo.
He's old and gets "confused"
Sometimes he's not sure what day it is, or decade.
Right now, he's wearing a leisure suit and blasting "Staying Alive", for reasons he's not quite sure about, but thinks it's something he heard on the news.
Perhaps something about "Son of Samuel Adams Corana Killer Virus"

Which FAs? This offseason, we got Cole and I feel pretty good about that. DJ turned out better than expected. Ottavino disappointed me in the playoffs but did well otherwise.

True, my bad. Only $324 Million. Meh, a mere bag of shells for the Yankees.

It's alright. I think he'll earn it in the end. But if he Sonny Grays us, then feel free to come back

I'm just busting balls (Paulie Walnuts). I'd be very surprised if Cole doesn't live up to his contract. Sure, anything can happen physically but I have no doubt he has the make to succeed in NYC.

On Puig...

With the start of the season being pushed back basically indefinitely I doubt the Yankees look at Puig. They're likely go with Gardner, Tauchman and Frazier with someone like Rosell Herrera as the 4th outfielder until Stanton and/or Judge returns.

Sources: Yankees minor leaguer tests positive for coronavirus

A minor league player in the New York Yankees' system has tested positive for coronavirus, sources told ESPN.

He is the first known case in baseball.

The player was isolated Friday morning after saying he was running a fever.

He was only on the minor league side of the team's facility in Tampa, Florida. Still, that distance alone does not necessarily protect those who are nearby from contracting the virus.

On the bright side, this means Judge and Stanton will be healthy by the time the season starts.
